Very through overview as I wait to pick up my Santa Fe. A couple things I noticed you went by. The narrow front passenger side compartment is a UV disinfecting compartment for cell phones, keys, etc. And the center console opens from the backseat as well (there is a button to open it from both the front and back seats in opposite directions. Overall, really appreciate your video!
Thanks! I do mention the compartment in my full review video but it's only UV for higher trims. At first I didn't realize the console in the back could open both ways but I was in a Calligraphy trim a week ago and definitely mentioned it in that upcoming video. Thanks for pointing those out though for people who were wondering! When do you think you'll have your Santa Fe? And did you go hybrid or regular ICE?
This was really useful - easier to digest than reading the manual! Also on a side note, I just realised indicator stalks do get reversed between US and Australia since the Santa Fe has it on the right here.
Thanks JC.. exactly why I started creating these videos! Makes sense about the stalks. I have to get myself out to EU or AU to try some right hand drive cars out
You clearly know the Hyundai technology on these new models. Maybe you could help me with something on my 2025 Santa Fe calligraphy that my salesman could not. When I am using Waze, it is on fullscreen and what I would like is to split the screen so that I can se and change channels on SiriusXM without going through the media button and then back to Apple CarPlay. I can do this on my 23 Sonata, but not sure how to do it on the Santa Fe. Any tips?
There was a way to do split screen but it looks like the updated screens have taken that function away. The only option is to reach out to Hyundai corporate and tell them it's a feature you want to see again. I'll make sure to point that out in my future videos as well to get their attention
Can you address something. The screen is huge but when listening to Sirius/XM, you can’t see the name of the group or song name (maybe a few letters). Then if you go full screen, all that space and no better. Am I missing a setting?
When you're on the radio screen you should see the song playing along the very bottom right side. If you click that it'll launch you into full screen and then you should see the artist/song scrolling along the right side.. but the view that you get on that screen is the best it gets. There's no setting for the artist/song info to scroll along the middle of screen under the channel
@@CarsWithSteve I stand corrected. It was right there... nestled logically between all the generic stuff like Connect with me, Related videos, and the List of Gear I used to make this video. Your watchers might gloss over all that fluff, so it's more helpful to put info about the actual video all together up at the top.
Lol all good! This cluster is standard in half the trim levels of the Santa Fe so it's a bit much to list all trims for Canada and USA in the header but I'll see if I can re-work the description instead

Dude you need to clarify the trim you're showing.
Did you bother to check the description of the video before you commented?
