Fun fact, this Chinese chain is known for their above & beyond service, for example I remember from childhood that one of the waitresses literally went out to the convenient store to help my aunt get pads 🤣 since the waits in Chinese Hai Di Laos get so long, customers are offered complementary snacks, teas and even manicures! They also came out with Hai Di Lao earrings (like lotus roots & chili peppers) and even lipsticks 😂

actually, the haidilao restaurants in america are the same in the sense that you also pay around $3 for the sauce bar :) also, i've never been to an asian restaurant in america where i was ever charged for individual sauce lol
I love Haidilao ❤ When we went there on my dad and uncle’s birthday, the staff legit pulled out LED boards that say Happy Birthday and sang the song too 😂 The Noodle stretcher was amazing 🤩 I love his performance but the Sichuan hot pot was spicy 🌶 It burned my lips
Omg I love Haidilao! We went there over winter break to have a nice hot pot and the service was amazing. They gave us phone covers to charge our phone on the table while eating, hair ties to tie up our hair and the amazing candy at the end. Their food was sooo good and the sauces made everything better. My personal favorite there was the free ice cream that comes with the meal.😅 (I’m vegetarian so there weren’t many soup bases I could eat but omg I’m addicted to that place now)
I still have an apron I’m “borrowing” from Haidilao from when I used to live in china 😂, also always got to have one peanut based sauce and one herby oniony sauce for the variety!
your dipping sauce is like how my husband makes hi; he goes for it with all the different layers, and i always make mine simple and end up eating his. we love eating tofu skin and beef tongue in our hot pot, i feel like the tofu skin absorbs all the sauce the best 🙃
i remember when she first started the channel she barely talked and didnt rly show herself much but now shes so passionate and so great we have come all this way to reach to more than we ever thought good job and keep going and making scrumptious food and more vlogs love you

We have them here in the UK too! Def our friend groups fave place to go for hotpot (also usually one of the few places that have space for 15+ people). Sauce bar is still free here as far as I'm aware. Their service is also really good
I remember I used to go there a lot when I used to live in china and they used to give free gel manicures on most days but on Sundays they would give free face massages and they also gave free toys to kids and sometimes they gave free 3d Bunny's made of yogurt :-)

Theres actually a saying ~ When you eat hotpot, the sauce is supposed to get less and less. If the amount of sauce increases, then your eating it wrong. I come from sichuan (my mums side anyways) background
