I hope you have as much luck with yours as I do with mine. Mine is still working great. You can find replacement blades for it at harbor freight if it’s the same model as mine.
Thanks. My WEN planer is still running strong. It’s the 2 blade planer. It does struggle with really wide and long pieces though (12”x6’). I’ve had no issues with it other than that. There have been a very few times that the output has clogged up but that’s because I was taking too much off or the blades were dull. I hope it works out well for you! Thanks for the comment!

Love it. I just happen to have an old steel trashcan too. Also it looks like a big'ol cigarette Edit : i ended up naking mine at work out of a scrap acrylic tube, with a 2 1/4 od . Cut it at 45° into an L shape then glued it together
Just bought one and man this will save me money and clean up time. Thanks loads.👍

Well done! Very helpful, thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Good ole fashioned ingenuity. Looks good Sir! (TG)
Thanks!
This is a great idea. I'm planning on ordering the WEN PL1326 in a few days and I definitely plan on duplicating what you've done here.

It still works. I just don’t have room for a vacuum system in my shop. Thanks for watching
my WEN spiral planer spits out just as many chips out the front. How does yours not?
You might check to see if the out feed is clogged up a little bit. At times mine will come out the front if it’s clogged
Smart thinking my friend.
Thanks c-Mac!
