This guys is a legend love watching & learning from his videos. 100% focus on trying to educate novice viewers & never afraid to reveal his location like other youtubers 👍👍
I absolutely love wp. Warneet is my favourite place to fish when it comes to saltwater. I love how Westernport is so vast with its range of species. I’m planning to fish off the beach for gummies soon. Awesome video mate! Really awesome fish + great editing and footage. Keep it up mate your content never dissapoints
Thanks so much !! Yeah WestPort sure is a special place. Super challenging at times, but the rewards make it so worth the effort. Some great gummies can be caught around Tenby, Somers, and many more, so youll love that stuff i hope you get stuck into a few good ones
Love ya shows and really you Allen you taught me everything I need to know and what to use! You are a legend and hope one day we can go on a fishing trip. Keep it up👋
When I used to live in VIC WPB was my favourite fishing spot. The Dan Andrews f-ed Victoria with communist lockdowns so I moved to NSW and have upgraded from gummies to marlin galore, with the occasional mahi and king session. Catching marlin every weekend during the season is like a wild fantasy life I never thought I’d live. When life gives you lemons lol 😂
Yeah 100% you can kayak fish in WP but in a different way to what I like to kayak fish. Kayaking there really requires picking the right location, understanding the tide times and often anchoring up and throwing baits. You can catch some amazing fish doing this, but I prefer getting on the drift and throwing plastics on the yak.
I know plenty that fish WP from a kayak. The key is to fish the areas where the tide isn't running fast. Which are the shallow mud flats and sand banks. Just make sure you know your tides before you go out.

Good video mate ..but can't believe the noise of the chop makes hitting your boat ..didn't seem to put the fish of though lol.
Do you think you can fish. Western port with a kayak or too rough?

Where abouts is this boat ramp?
We launched at Hastings and Corinella on those days.
Its too shallow tho
What is? WP? There are water depths up to 38 metres in WP. So not sure what you mean?
Some of my best writing have been in less than 2m of water.
