Rick! I appreciate the kind words! Thank you for stopping by, watching and joining in the conversation. That radio is one of my favorites for sure. See you out there. 73 de Bill
Cameron! Thanks for joining in. Don’t let cw intimidate you. Give it a try with the Long Island CW Club. It’s more than just a place to learn; it’s a welcoming club. I don’t consider myself good at cw, just confident and happy to keep trying. I know at least ten people that started learning it after me, and they are definitely better at it. That should be encouragement enough for you to give it a try. Hope to copy your call sign one day. See you out there. 73 de Bill
Thanks! I see stuff on the web and try to find out about it on youTube. If I think it'll fit, I give it a try. If it does not, I can it, return it, and give something else a try. So far this kit does the trick. See you out there. 73 de Bill
Thanks for stopping by, watching, and joining the conversation. I like that paddle. First of all it is always with that particular radio because it doesn’t fit anything else. It’s solidly connected. It is however a potential point of failure if the radio is dropped, leaned on or otherwise mishandled, but I’m willing to take the risk for the convenience factor. It’s well-built and works well so far. It’s not a Begali, but it’s excellent in the field. See you out there. 73 de Bill
Thanks for joining the conversation. I took that idea for the fans from a TX-500 and amplifier I saw on the internet. It uses the pwm function of the processor to control the fans. See you out there. 73 de Bill
Whoo Hoo . . . Glad you came back to me so that we could do it, lol. Thanks for dropping in with a comment, and for stopping and watching in the first place. I appreciate it. See you out there. 73 de Bill
Thanks for stopping by. That paddle is the CW-500 by Lab599. It’s made especially for the TX-500. There are two versions. I like it. See you out there. 73 de Bill
Love the TX-500 and thanks for the video. We need to see more of you.

Nice outing. Great park. Used to row there on the Davidson College crew. GL on the kilo! 73
Thanks for stopping by! I’m lucky that that park is so close and it’s nice! I bet being out on the water there is nice. See you out there. 73 de Bill

This video is great! It's the first video I've seen of the attachable Lab599 paddle in-use. How do you like it?
