I've been watching your videos for a while and was finally able to secure 2 bags of the garys best soil in the Chicago area. I've currently got around 20 citrus trees. I've tried many soils, 511, fox farms ocean, Miracle-Gro citrus, and a few blends with mostly pumice and sand. I've been told that gary's best is good for California, but not plants that will be brought in for winter or in the midwest area. Any opinions of this? I do use air pots 7 - 20 gallon pots and love the concept of a permanent soil solution.
I don't know why it wouldn't work...but I don't have any experience with midwest gardening techniques. We use TOP POT on indoor as well as outdoor plants.
