Nice spots Anton! I went to Brazil for the first time last november traveling from Fortaleza to Jeri with a group. Was the best time of my life. The winds in the north were so strong blowing 35 knots easy every day. Loved Jeri, was nice night life and good winds every day! Best time of my life!
True) The North is a place to go! Had my best time in Brazil there also!
Fully agree with you. Macapa is very good. There is an alternative going there. If you are coming from Rio, São Paulo, actually, any other city but Fortaleza, you can take a fligth to Jericoacoara airport and reduce your trip in 2:30 hours. Keep posting, your videos are the most instructional and I've learned a lot.

I know this spot quite well. Minute 3:50: watch out for turtles while landing. There are plenty around in this playground. Btw. Anton -> awesome kitesurfing skills ;-)
Hey, thanks)) Yea! True, I saw couple of turtles there, the first one scared my like hell, when I was body dragging))) Didn't expect to meet them far from the open Ocean waters in the lagoon! Thought maybe it's a croc from the river )))
Luckily there are no crocodiles around. But I can well imagine that it can be a real shock when you are just body dragging :) Any plans to visit that spot again in near future?

Hey, thanks! I don't have much experience in Egypt, only spots around Hurghada and a bit of Dahab. I've spent several months riding in Soma Bay also. Yes, I was planning to film a short clip about Egypt, maybe I'll have to go for a trip visiting several spots.

Fabiano Santos not sure in macapa, but i was at ilha do guajiru and jericocoara, and winds there get strong enough to use a 5-7m kite (for 75kg rider).

Hey, sorry for late answer! Sri Lanka in June rocks, especially Wella island (it's blowing pretty like in Kalpitiya during last several seasons). And Cuyo island on Philippines for Jan - my favorite)

Yes, I put the GoPro on the leading edge. I wish I could have a drone footage, but it's a question of luck) Some guys manage to bring one to Brazil, but it's actually prohibited.
However you know it better, than I do)))

Привет! Спасибо! Я тут решил проверить все потерянные сообщения, поэтому отвечаю разом) Про гоупрошку - я ее на скейтерский шлем цепляю на макушку. Не очень стайл, но зато самая стабильная (не трясучая) позиция и более жестко, чем ремнями (мягкое крепление есть такое) на ту же голову. Ну и шлем плавает опять же, если что. Хотя сейчас самый тренд вроде в зубах держать)))
А про доску, в этом кино про Макапу старая Nobile NHP фигурирует, она тяжелая и устаревшая морально уж. Я сейчас взял North Select Textreme 132X39 - самый супер размер для моих 75 кг. Особенно ширина. Кантовать легко. Она карбоновая, вес чисто доски 2 140 гр. - достаточно легкая. Рокер 38 мм - могло быть и поменьше для чистого фрирайда, но к зарезке претензий, конечно нет. Для 60 кг я бы, конечно, рекомендовал меньшую длину, но не знаю конкретных примеров, это редкий вес, сам понимаешь. Ну вот такой Select 132 на край...

So you dont really recommend Ilha do Guajiru? Someone told me its the best spot in Brazil, a lot of space, flat water and nice wind. But if its gusty, choppy and it hasnt sometimes water i probably shouldnt go there...
I've heard the same, nice things about Ilha de Guajiru only) After that I was there for couple of times, never going out on the water though :) Yes, the biggest issue is that the wind blows more along the sand bar than across it, it creates a terrible chop in the lagoon. And you can't kite closer to the bar, because of some trees and big bushes there. There's only one spot, in the very end of the bar, where it's more or less OK. And yes, the tide dependance....it gets completely dry (in the afternoon, I believe, when I was visiting it in Oct/Nov). So, the only place you can kite in this case is another lagoon several kilometers downwind from the main spot. And not to forget, it's quite pricey, even for Brazil.

Hi. Well, I liked it in September, yeah, flat water lagoon, fresh water, Ocean wind....But in the end of October one day I was desperately trying to get back to come out of the water and I could not, because of "carousels" of pro-freestylers having a training session and other guys, just cruising around them. Once in my life I had something like that, did think it's possible :))))

Слайды да, я их очень уважаю...К сожалению, самые шедевральные получились, когда я не снимал, как всегда, блин) Например, почти неограниченный по длительности на ногах по воде (на 10ке Ребел, причем) или длинный по воде с переходом на длинный по песку. Постараюсь заснять.
А позже планирую еще обучалку по слайдам выпустить также. Там есть пара аспектов интересных!
