Excellent!!! In 20 years of riding, I've never ridden in anything but waves. I have always been so envious of people that get to practise in flat water.
I'd like to point out that's extremely useful video from Anton!
Super excited to see another video from you Anton! They're hands down the best out there. The attention to details and hard work you put into these is just incredible. Keep it up comrade!
Another great one, Anton! Should have seen this before going into the waves! Just the best pieces of advice ever! You and Mike are just an awesome pair of teachers!
Excellent !! Explains well why jumps in kiting are rather lifts and the real jumping, even though way less high, is happening in windsurfing only. I moved over from ws 6-7 years ago, but I still miss that bit 🙂
Another awesome video tutorial from my favourite channel to bring students to. Thanks so much for these efforts. Mad editing skills and super narration. Added to Top Kiteboarding Tutorials Playlist.
Another awesome video! Your explanations go into such fantastic detail about the physics and bio mechanics of kiting. I've learned so much from your videos. Thanks!
Wow this is the best video on jumping of waves that I have ever seen!!! Keep up the great work Anton! I did miss Yoda by the way, maybe the waves are to big for him??!!
great Video again! Tanks a lot! But I would really appreciate to spend some more details on how to perform that little pre-Jump just before the take-off.
Yea, it's bit complicated topic. The easiest way is to use that "trough" before the kicker. I mean, calculating the first push with the board, so it would end right before the trough and the board would go airborne by itself. But if you want to do it on any wave terrain, you should definitely practice on flat water. I will definitely have a closer look on that in one of the next episodes. But just try it. It's all about experimenting. This "bounce" feels like 50% pushing off from the water, 50% bending knees to lift the board a bit. It's not a pure pop, because kite is extremely low, it makes it harder to lift off from water. Most important is to look back on the trail and see no downwind shift during the bounce. It should look like a gap on the constant course line. I mean your trace on the water)
Hey Anton really great video. I have a question sometimes I feel the board is stuck to the wave just as i want to leave the water and a lot of energy is lost in this moment, but I can’t figuer out when this happens. Do you have any tips?
Thank you Anton for all these great explanations: I better understand some of my common mistakes as slowing down at each little wave moving kite to 12 or jumping them too late🥴! I will try your technic asap😊. You recommand side wind spots but on mine the wind is mostly on shore so little jumps and high jumps are more difficult and risky. Any recommandation for these conditions?😎
Well, any wind direction will do, actually. You don't even need a proper wave for this. It can be some big chop as well. It's all about understanding how these small waves/pieces of chop work. You should really feel them as "bumps" STOPPING your board and you should use these "hits" to send your kite to 12, which is crucial. This last short yank perfectly synchronized with small wave is the secret) If your waves are completely parallel with your course, may be looking for random pieces of chop will work better....I used these techniques even on my local river, which is a chaotic choppy mess))))
You can still go up on the wave on its face diagonal, not necessarily crossing it you will end up jumping away downwind from it. Probably you will not go as high but still fun, better than nothing
О, спасибо! Да, все я исправляюсь в плане продуктивности)), работаю над следующим видосом, в первой половине июня будет. Довольно интересно будет, на мой взгляд.
Hey! Not sure about Mhud...I was using some elements from Motion Factory, sometimes deeply modified to my needs. Yea, the project is quite heavy in the end) Like 1.5 hours of render to see the result.

Thanks bro! I'm so lucky to get to work with the man whose videos inspired me years ago 🙌 really!

Hey, Daniel! Thanks for rating my work so high! Have put quite a lot of effort in it!
Nice that you are starting to do videos again. Love them!
Yes, I am back to video work again! Glad you you like it! Thanks!
Anton: love your content and your science. We all visualize the process differently and this really helps riders like me.
Thanks! Sometimes I think, may be I go too complicated to understand it fast, but looks like it's the only way I can explain it!)

Doing my best) Thank you so much for your words, it's very important! 🙏
I wish Anton did strapless tricks tutorials, he's always so accurate, most of the others forget mentioning important details
Awesome, the video I’ve been waiting for 😀

Hey Anton really great video. I have a question sometimes I feel the board is stuck to the wave just as i want to leave the water and a lot of energy is lost in this moment, but I can’t figuer out when this happens. Do you have any tips?
Hi! Thank you!
Yes, sometimes it happens and it often depends on the board. Which one do you have? What is you weight and size of the board?
Good job, informative, useful and crazy infographics!)))

Антоха, как обычно, видос супер!!! В какой проге делаешь эти линии , графики , стрелки и т.п. ?
