Doing a raid in AC: Valhalla to this was INTENSE. The game is definitely not the best one in the franchise, but it does have some amazing moments.

@@atergolupi a.) Nothing to be .. sorry .. about, first time I seen " Black Feathers " it rocked hard. But it is a .. different .. kind of energy.
b.) I think I watch around close to a dozen of your videos, and this is the first one I seen where she really comes close to .. dancing .. in. Also a more .. simple .. rift is easier to drop into a trance and have a dance beat. Honestly in has been over ten years since I played or dance at a " circle " so I am out of practices in listening or seeing things.
c.) Do to the number of rehearsal takes and the final edit, she had time to develop a sweat sheen on her shoulders giving her a glow effect. From live performances I seen in air conditioning, a given dancer has to really work hard on full body movement 3 to 5 minute dance to get a sweat sheen glow. As for stander club dancing women has to be dancing for at lest 15 minutes to have sheen glow that the string player had at the end of " Ravens."
d.) My only amateur music performance I ever did in a bar was a 20 minutes bass cello 3-2-3 rift beat to keep pace on jazz/ rock music. As someone that doesn't normally play, that was an effort. I have a small develop skill in maintaining a rift but a hard time of going back and forth into multiple rifts. So I stick with background beats. How much fun you have putting into the rifts more or less translates the passion you get out of the music/ dances. If the music band and dancers are not having fun, neither are the customers.
e.) I am sorry I don't have a note book to keep names in so I can properly respond to YT comments.

If you mean the tagelharpa, it is tuned F#-F# (unisone) whit C# as low drone; when possible, we love to have the V on the low drone :)

We didn't have much possibilities with this video, but we wanted to pay a homage to the duality of the mythologic ravens, the thought and the memory, two aspects that characterize so well this wonderful bird.
We thought it could be the best way to do it. :)

Actually, yes: ...a lot, truly a lot of patience :)
First weeks can be frustrating, but are essential to gain the right confidence with the sound emission, necessary to play with pleasure this instrument.
You're doing right studying bow technique, what I can suggest in addition to this, is to not choose tunes and melodies with very slow notes (which are a little harder to manage) or very fast notes (too fast to be assimilated), a middle option, and work on the first two, three notes, the lower ones, that are a little more easy to control.
Then, after gained confidence with the first two, three notes, start adding also the higher ones.

Good afternoon, please tell me how many hairs do you put on each string for such a sound?
Hi Momos, the horsehair strings may have different thickness and characteristics depending on your instrument, so for the best sound on your tagelharpa it is necessary to ask your maker/seller.
If you have now metal/synthetic strings, the horsehair surely will give your tagelharpa a different sound, but the voice of the instrument is tightly tied to structural characteristics (dimension, shape, materials, holes, soundboards, internal and external parts, ecc...)

Our first original song was named "Crows" (you can find it on our channel), so we thought it would have been a good compromise anyway. :)

One of the hardest songs of this genre. I like this style of music and you have quite a lot in your repertoire. I mostly listen to extreme metal, but only a few songs can give me chills. Your music is something completely different. Don't change, don't turn into a hundred-man orchestral band.

Simple music is hard to play well. I can almost see the shadows dancing across the cave walls, smell fire smoke that sulks across a bone strewn floor. Outside, half a dozen Crow's merge into the looming darkness, their chatter unanswered. Obsidian eyed they hold their secrets beneath black wings. With each production you guys take more sounds out and add more spirit, more passion. Your devolution is music to my ears.
