Survivor Drew Devon was my favorite character to watch on this season, but even if he got to the end, he wouldn’t have won. Chrissy was running the show; she just couldn’t stop fan favorite Ben from collecting idols.

Devon deserved to lose, if he actually practiced for the fire making challenge instead of being a lazy fuck he might have won, plus Christy would have beat him anyway.

His post merge game was so good. He played everyone by pretending to be a surfer bro airhead premerge and then took control of the game postmerge. Made the two best moves of the season a F5 and F9. Played a winners game and production screwed him over with the dumbest of twists. I hope he plays again.

@@mikeyfriesen One of the idols he found was literally located next to where Ben always slept in the shelter. The first two he found on his own merit. The last one was planted and the fire twist was introduced to save Ben from being voted out at final 4. So yes it was rigged for Ben
@Edwin ZOU idk that means production wouldn't know where Ben slept every night and that twist wasn't introduced for the sole purpose of saving someone in the final 4.

I really love Devon. S35 was a boring and not so fun season but he was very fun and entertaining to watch. I’d love to see him play a second time along with maybe Lauren, maybe Mike, maybe Jessica, and maybe Desi.

I'm not one of those anti-Ben people, I actually really enjoyed Ben's win as it was a unique set of circumstances (whether people claimed it was rigged or not, that's not my point) that has never been seen before. But, I'm so upset that Devon didn't win. He was an all star player during the season that lost to a twist he had no reason to prepare for. I like the firemaking twist but it would've been miles better if it was known at the beginning of the season. Devon has to be almost guaranteed a second shot at the title and he could actually do really well in a returnee season. His amazing gameplay was massively overshadowed by Ben's story arc to the point that I'm not sure Devon would even be perceived as a threat in the beginning. I hope we see Devon on our screens again in the future.

That twist was thrown in by the developers JUST so Ben would win.
I’m not totally dissing the devs, but that was a dumb move. Devon was calling mostly all of the shots, and he only lost because of the stupid fire making challenge. He definitely would have beaten Chrissy and Ryan in the final 3, guaranteed.

Evil Olive is saying that due to the fact that a twist was suddenly in the game( fire making one) and that Ben found idols so easily and it in his perspective it looks like when Ben had managed to use these things production( idols, Fire Making Twist) to only benefit him

he's a physical fit competitor and is pretty good looking as well, but after that decision to vote out dr. mike he's clearly shown himself to be a smart competitor as well.

Hed probably be on brawn given that he’s a surf instructor and survivor, on seasons with these types of twists, usually decides tribes based on the player’s profession.
How tall is Devon? Id guess he's about 6'4 which makes it more amazing that he went as far as he did without being a physical threat

Interviews confirmed Devon wins. Dr Mike himself clarified it. Chrissy was not respected by the jury.

To be fair Ryan helped a lot of people he was the one who created the alliance with Devon which then got aligned with Chrissy. So him and Devon both deserved respect.

Overrated. He gave some of the blandest monotone confessionals ever. He thinks he was running the game but just rode along with ben and laurens alliance. Keeps talking about making big moves but did nothing whole season.
