This song is so well done between the music and vocals and the build up of the arrangement and the “badampbampadampampa” part which will just be in your head for days… love it!

Ashira lahashem means I will sing to Hashem . This comes from Tehillim (psalms) chapter 104. Ashira lahashem bechayai I will sing to Hashem in my life. Azamra leilokai b'odi. I will sing to Hashem while I am still alive.
Yes, he seems to have this thing in his videos where he likes to daydream or he is sleeping and then things rewind.

Shira means song in Hebrew. Ashira means "I will sing". The song is about singing praises to Hashem. Mordy is just a ball of energy and always has fun music videos. Not much actual symbolism to pick up in this one

Oh boy, what a blunder on my part. I knew what Shira meant (cause of the Shira choir), surprised I didn't put 2-n-2 together with Ashira 😅....I had looked it up later and saw "wealthy" was also a meaning option? Which then I thought, was that why there were so many cars? 🤣

@PortuguesePai haha that's actually not far off. The word for rich is "Ashir". Not gonna get too deep into the nitty gritty, but the word for rich is spelled with a different Hebrew letter at the beginning of the word than the word for singing

@PortuguesePai, There are indeed two different words in Hebrew that may sound similar but have distinct meanings and spellings. The word "עשיר" (ashir) or "עשירה" (ashirah) in feminine form, refers to being wealthy or rich, while "אשירה" (Ashirah), as mentioned in the song, translates to "I will sing." These terms are unrelated and have no connection to each other.

Thanks Ari. If the music reactions weren't such a headache I would gladly do far more of them, but ya the copyright stuff is such a pain. Appreciate you hanging around even though they've slowed down ☺️.

Ashira would generally be pronounced with a harder R. Hes dropping it for the sake of the song
