I feel like Jaime French! Except stupid because I’m reviewing good movies instead of bad ones
… I mean, who do I think I am reviewing good movies?!? 😆 These movies will be better than I have ever been, am or ever will be! 😂
Anyway….
I didn’t think I could do it… and the quality is D+ at best… but still… I did it… 😂
Well, ok, kind of… I reviewed half of a movie…
I have kids… what do you want from me?!? 😂
And ok, I guess it’s more of a reaction video than a review… 😑
Just let me have my moment… ok!
Geez… so critical…
Anyway, I had never seen Star Wars in it’s entirety… (and technically I still haven’t 😂😭)… so I picked it to do a reaction video… how was I supposed to know I would feel so bad after I reacted to it?!?
I mean, it’s an iconic movie… and it’s in one of the greatest movie trilogies of all time… The plot twists…LUKE I AM YOUR FATHER…what?!? Leia and Luke are brother and sister! What?!? Wait, they’re TWINS!!!!! WHAAAAT?!?!?
Also, the special effects we’re unparalleled at the time, and let’s be real, they are still pretty epic… All the imagination and creativity… and the innovation that brought everything to life…! Just wow.
And then the soundtrack… absolute perfection… I mean, the intro… come on… ❤️ and The Imperial March?!?
And guys, who puts circus music in a bar scene…?! George Lucas that’s who! Genius! Like how does he think of these things?!? I’m honestly amazed by this movie. I mean, the intro alone is flipping brilliant… The word crawl… so simple but so ingenious! The music… the planets floating in space… the massive ships…. Everything about the intro is MWAH! Chef’s kiss. I honestly have so much appreciation for this movie now…
And there I sit, nit picking all the dumb things that don’t even matter… what kind of a person am I?!? Who have I become…?!?
Let me tell you…
I’m a person who can barely patch a UA-cam video together… reacting to one of the greatest movies of all time… 😂😂😂
I’m embarrassed for myself…
But not embarrassed enough to not post the video… because that was hard work y’all! 😂

Wait…. What?!? Jabba wasn’t in the original?!? I’m learning so many things!
I just Google it, and I’m shook! Thank you for telling me this…! I don’t think I ever would’ve known otherwise…! What else do I not know?!? I was starting to feel so cool because I finally kinda know a little bit about Star Wars… like I was becoming part of something… but I just got thrown off that horse real quick! 😂 It’s so hard to keep up with all the *history* … I’m so bad at paying attention to all the little details (A.D.D. 🙄 am i right?!?) but I am going to learn… it’s so fascinating! 😁

@@danielledoesstuff2142 In short, George Lucas developed a special effects company that elevated the state of the art in film in order to create the Star Wars movies. They went on to create effects for other films in the industry. Lucas also creates the Star Wars films in the style of 1930s movie serials, while also commenting on the histories of democratic governments turning into dictatorships. Fifteen years after the release of the original three films, he rereleases them with controversial edits and changes. He then creates Episodes One, Two and Three, which occur before the original three.

@@danielledoesstuff2142 Great! That’s why the opening crawl looks like that and why the scene transition wipes are there. Lucas originally wanted to do a movie version of Flash Gordon, the movie serial, but he couldn’t get the rights, so he made his own. He also adds elements of myth from a study of myths around the world. The term “stormtrooper” comes from the Nazi stormtrooper. The landscape of Star Wars is that there’s an Emperor ruling the galaxy. Darth Vader is a henchman and not the central villain.

What’s really annoying is he’s giving you information from the prequel movies which were devised for the prequels 15 years after these movies came out.
