River Irt runs well along this whole railroad, the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. This miniature railroad does some great passenger runs here. It is cool too.
Mmm 😌 Railroading is just really neat and fascinating to enjoy. What would I give to trade my job as a part-time package handler at a UPS for a cool job working as a full-time railroader. Now I can definitely see why Wilbert Awdry put this exact railway as an illustrated part of his book stories of "The Railway Series." I certainly wouldn't mind taking nice train rides to clear my mind.
hello sir, nice to meet you, I also work on the Indonesian railways, I want to ask sir, do you assemble mini locomotives like this yourself or does someone sell them? I want to build my own railroad too
I am on the fence about captions, I started putting them on at the start then people said they got in the way, so I left them off and now people say they should be on. I have started putting a few on as subtitles (meaning they can be turned on or off and we are all happy) but I need to go back to some older ones and fill them in.

There is something so relaxing about a nice railway journey!
As great as this appears, it's still hard work. I did it for 20 years as a revenue conductor and that was easy compared to a freight railroad.

Sadly I just film them, I don't make them

The exhaust beats sound really off😮

Nice train ride :)
It really is, I don't get up there half as much as I would like. Perfect in any season
Excellent Camera work.. Is George Staniforth still around I wonder?
It's not a name I have heard when I have been up but I am happy to ask next time. What did he do there?
@@TheTouristLineretired driver of this loco.
..... Am wondering why "Irt" was sounding a tad bit lame.....? In the past "Irt" had a crisp, square, cracking beat!
123 year old river irt
Definitely looks well for its age, a timeless loco. Thank you for watching
River irt and Katie is visit to rhdr in 2022

Given how cold it was on the day, he did good! Really nice chap to be fair.
But no captioning to announce the different halts
