This is legitimately the first video that I’ve seen that effectively explained in a simple way how to play balance and it made me want to give it another go! Thanks!
started lvling a balance druid alt since my Enhancement shaman is maxed and I'm having a good time learning balanced. this guide did help me out to understand the spec alot better thanks for that
As someone else said, we'd love to see the same for Elune's Chosen. It ranks significantly higher if played really well in M+, and I'd absolutely love to understand why.
On a start of video you saying for Single Solar and for AOE Lunar... and in the rotation section you saying for single enter to cast twice Wrath to enter Solar.. so whats right? :D
@dekrus7405 Thanks for the question! We can cast Wrath twice when we first enter the single target rotation since when you cast Celestial Alignment it will put you into both eclipses. After Celestial Alignment is done and until it is back up then you would cast Starfire twice to get back into Solar.
@@dekrus7405 It's more so that Wrath is a quicker cast so you get a tick more initial damage in the opener but honestly it is not a make or break thing. Not sure what you are asking as far as the Moonfire/Sunfire.
@tua269 Sure. The main two you see in the videos are weakauras. The action bar in the middle is a class weakaura made by Luxthos. Up top in the middle is built in to Details. We use it for class videos to more easily show what spell is being cast. In other videos, the weakaura up in the left corner is a tracker made by Tamas.
Hello, quick question. If we drop "Stellar Flare" from the AOE talents, why would be taking "Waning Twilight" since now we are only left with sunfire and moonfire as our dots? Thanks for the guide btw
@nileshchainpuria6383 Thank you for the comment! And that is a really good question. Definitely something that was overlooked since changing it out for another talent will not affect pathing to Harmony of the Heavens. If we drop Waning Twilight, there are a few options we could talent into but would have to run some sims to know what would be optimal. And welcome to our viewers in India. 😊
@@nileshchainpuria6383 If you take a Stellar Amplification, Mushrooms, and Astral moldering they basically keep Warning Twilights up most of the time so you don't need Stellar Flare to get that Warning Twilights bonus.. and it shines in AoE and in M+ content. Probably some single-target raid bosses are the places where you can utilize Stellar Flare.
In the AOE rotation part you state that you simply go into lunar eclipse instead of solar. And yet in the single target part you state: cast wrath twice. Which clearly puts you into Lunar, not solar.
@ovidiuzakarias678 In ST you can start with Wrath since in the opener you will cast Incarnation: Chosen of Elune which will put you into both Eclipses. After the opener, you will see in the rotation that if Incarnation: Chosen of Elune is on cooldown you will cast Starfire twice to stay in Solar.
@@ovidiuzakarias678 No problem. Honestly, the rotations are like the optimal DPS rotations but depending on the level of content and how much you are trying to min-max, there is always room to alter the rotation a bit so it works best for you.
@httosyali Thanks for the comment! We will definitely do that. Going to wait until 11.0.7 releases in December since we are so close to patch to see if any changes come in but we plan on combining the two in one video when we update it then.
@@Linknla KotG is definitely the most popular. For future class guides, including Balance Druid, we will address both Hero Talent Specs in the video. We'll put new ones together for Patch 11.0.7 since at this point we are waiting to see what Blizzard does with spec buffs and nerfs.
@lord_pamperin4233 Thanks for the question! You can get to your Talents with the 'N' key bind. To import a talent string like the ones we put in the video description, at the bottom left of the Talent window you will se a drop down box. If you select Import, you can copy the Talent string into the big text box and give the talent build a name.
if im just using this spec to lvl and farm ores and herbs is it fine to just spam whatever? xD seems kinda complicated im new to this spec idk im a warrior player so i just button mash lul
@MrAchsas Yeah pretty much. I leveled the Druid in the video to 80 doing nothing but farming ore and herbs. 😁 Most of the time you don't even need to engage any enemies to be honest.
@putrichyo9927 Thanks for the comment. So that is a really hard question to answer because it depends on so many things. Depends on your gear, what trinkets you have, what enchant levels you have applied to your gear and so on. Generally, you can follow the recommended item level that Blizzard has if it is LFR or Delve Tiers. To really determine it by item level though, it typically requires simming your character since it all depends on the variability like stated before.
@yorakara4311 Thanks for the comment! You typically want to go into Elunar Eclipse and use Starfire to build Astral Power and Starfall to spend Astral Power. There is a corner case if you are trying to maximize as much as possible where you cast Wrath only if you currently have Incarnation: Chosen of Elune active. But personally I do not try to min/max to this degree.
Absolutely the best video I've seen on Balance Druid!
