Skipped over one of the things I really needed to see 😭. Can we talk about how freaking difficult it is to remove the plastic cover because of the wire harness clips in the back that are hooked to both the plastic cover and a bulky plastic bracket. The squeeze is so tight that even though I finally got the clips separated I STILL can’t get the plastic cover off. I’ve probably spent more time trying to remove it than it takes some to rebuild the dang engine. Haha
Good job showing the process little by little. However my GMC Sierra 1500 had 4 plastic retainers attached to the cover secured to the wire bundle behind the top cover of the manifold valve cover and against the fire wall that would not allow to be removed both together. Be aware of this.
I have a code p0300 i replaced spark plugs and wires. Had the code removed after and ran good no issue but the engine light came back on.. sometimes it blinks and stays solid. Any suggestions ??
Hello I think I'm having the same problem with my 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Lt 1500 I thought it was spark plugs or ignition coil. I replace the spark plugs. But still have the rough idle engine shaking. Also change the O2 sensors. So you think it could be the fuel injector??
I am having the same issue engine shakes bad scanner detected #5 misfires I change spark plugs coils wires and still nothing did u happen to figure out what it was ??

And the fact that there is a 5th manifold bolt on the passengers side in an area that I can’t even get an extension socket into

Kitchen Grease is absolutely fine. Small amounts of Crisco works great.
