“Fac ut ardeat cor meum” from Sabat Mater - Elite Chorus 「使我的心燃燒」選自聖母讚美詩 - 以立合唱團

洛杉磯「以立合唱團」2023年11月11日在台灣高雄衞武營國家藝術文化中心音樂廳演出，主題為「希望之光」 “The Light of Hope Concert”。由「台北室內管弦樂團」伴奏。上半場黃令先老師指揮由國際聖樂大賽中屢屢得獎的著名男低音 Vahagn Hovents 獨唱的「使我的心燃燒」 - 選自「聖母讚美詩」Stabat Mater。
「聖母讚美詩」Stabat Mater 是一首 13 世紀的基督教聖母瑪利亞讚美詩，描繪了她作為耶穌基督的母親在他被釘十字架時所受的苦難。詩集中第八首為男低音獨唱曲「使我的心燃燒」歌詞如下：
讓我的心因基督的愛而燃燒，並在他的眼中找到恩典。
聖母，請刺穿我； 在我心中，我的救主被釘在十字架上的每一個傷口都在更新。

* Hovents' vocals are impressive, his voice full of power and appeal.
* Huang Lingxian’s conductor was wonderful, and she controlled the atmosphere of the concert just right.
* The accompaniment of the Taipei Chamber Orchestra is excellent, and the tone they play is rich and beautiful.
All in all, this concert was a very successful performance, which allowed the audience to feel the sorrow of the Virgin Mary and the hope of the Christian faith.
