@@wyv_3rn yeah, I hear they didn't have the optimization for it yet, even when the processor should be in theory able to run it.
The game run really well on Qualcom Snapdragon series chipset, they really optimized it for snapdragon.
It will get optimized if your processor is strong enough, just wait and play on laptop for a while. I see the game running on integrated graphic card lmao.

Noelle is freaking awesome because whenever her shield is activated she is invincible, gets healed, and heals the entire party, effectively making her an extremely effective tank/healer.
Noelle best girl. I have 3 shield character, but Noelle is my main DPS character.
noelle is a good alternative for people who dont have big dong zhong.compared to zhongli noelle is not that good
Lol, this was written before Zhongli was even playable. I still stand by Noelle being awesome. Any character can be great if you build them right. Zhongli is definitely the best miner though.

Well, mihoyo's been accused of "copying" animations from other games for some time now. Honkai have some animations that are "straight from beyonnetta". On one hand, it looks like they've been trying to do something original for a while now (just look at the latest cgi cutscenes in honkai). On the other hand, it looks like they've come back to that "copying" phase that they have. Noelle's whole moveset suspiciously looks like 2b's. Eh, maybe they copy some stuff at the beginning to get a solid foundation and they try to create something more original when they've gotten used to the game's style? Personally, i really like their games so i don't care that much.

The art style actually reminds me more of RWBY than Breath of the Wild. To the point that I saw screencaps of characters from the latest season of RWBY being used as thumbnails and thought they were Genshin Impact videos. Then I noticed the zonko weapons and realized it was RWBY.

@@thedragon12 You shouldn't defend something like that. Pokémon is the highest-grossing entertainment franchise of all time, they have enough money to develop an excellent game within the time frame you assume they were developing. They also reused models etc meaning they didn't start from scratch. And this game was developed to be played on mobile devices while Sword and Shield is developed on a hardware above the average mobile device, yet this game looks objectively better with better animations, visuals, physics and mechanics.
My hope is next gen will have better graphics, but...

Oh my god, the fact that they put an achievement in for scaling the statue in town is absolutely GENIUS.
The old MMO City of Heroes had a giant statue of Atlas in the main hub zone, and if you climbed up on top of the globe he was holding you'd get an achievement.
got to adventure lvl 20, dude there is so much similar stuff, its everywhere, whenever you think you are outsmarting the game and climbing somewhere there is a chest or something useful hiden, they were expecting ppl to cheat the system and trying to slip through terrain its brilliant and i love it!
Oh trust me, there is sooo many more achievements, I had like 50hp or some stuff and when I startled a boar it ran to me and it killed me barely xD to my surprise I got an achievement for that lmao

@@zenks5883 funny you would say that, maxing the rank's of the statues for the 7 gods (each element) will reward you a good chunk of extra stamina allowing you to glide, swim farther or climb higher. Or spin to win for longer with greatsword users.
Thanks Shen, for showing me that after 10 hours into my playthrough that I could’ve sat on the hands this whole time even though I wandered around the hands of the statue for 5 minutes. MY LIFE IS A JOKE

Genshin Impact is on console and PC as well, with cross save and cross play (except for PS4 cross save cause Sony). The quality is so much better than most other games in the same style, both in artstyle and just ease of access for new players. It's a gacha game, sure, but it feels nothing like one.

The BOTW comparisons are obvi, but it also really gives me Nier: Automata vibes. Especially from the way the characters dash before sprinting and the way the weapons appear and float behind the characters (which isn't inherently a Nier thing I know just the way it look feels similar).
The running is definitely Nier "inspired" and I have seen comparisons between some of the broadsword attacks, that people shared, which seem to be 1to1 copys of 2Bs.
@@lulllaby They seem to do just enough additional work around it for it to be mostly its own ideas but certain animations are very close to wear it feels imitated.
I remember my time with Honkai Impact which had a lot of cool stuff but known for taking moves/animations heavily from Bayonetta and Devil May Cry.
It's very much 'lemme copy your homework' energy. I wanna say they're at least doing a lot of their own stuff its hard to know where to fall on the inspiration/theft argument tho. It's on the nose sometimes but not often enough for it to feel agregious I guess? Reminds me a lot of the Naruto/Cowboy Bebop tracing from years back.

Usually I think it's bad to directly copy other people's work without putting your own spin on it (especially tracing art), but I have a certain fondness of MiHoYo since I never felt like they tried to be scummy about it. Their f2p model is really clean and if you are okay with playing the game with the standard set of characters you can put hours upon hours into a beautiful Botw clone, which for me triggered the "what's that over there" feeling more than any other game since the "inspiration". Same with Honkai which is one of the few mobile games that I ever played over a long time.

Except they're actually not bad. It's only 0.6% for 5 stars without a dedicated banner. With a dedicated banner that becomes 1.6%, and on top of that there's the pity system guaranteeing a 4 star every 10 pulls and a 5 star every 90 pulls within each banner (something FGO could stand to learn from), as well as your progress towards the pity limit carrying over across dedicated banners when they change. It's actually a really bloody good gacha, all things considered.
