@@rayh53 No, not yet. I want to though. I installed the multi mount panel with the seat jackers. It would be nice to have that setup on the passenger side as well.
how tall are you?
@@scottwest8742 I'm 6ft tall. The bill of my hat will hit my sun visor and that does get pretty annoying, but my sun visor needs to be replaced. It hangs down a bit and doesn't snap up to the roof.

I love easy mods, small effort with quick satisfying results. Seat jackers would be my number one.
I am going to absolutely check out the mod for the gauge cluster because the scratches are killing me, great video!
Chloe, I keep the softest makeup brush I could find on Amazon sitting in my console opening to remove dust particles from instrument cluster and dash. I am OCD about dust. I use 303 Protectant on a microfiber towel on the top of my dash and door panels to protect from UV light. I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for making them. My 2015 Tacoma is a TRD Sport in Silver Sky Metallic with a 6 foot bed. The sport has body colored fender trim, bumpers and mirrors. A no functional hood scoop is part of the package.

I bought the center console and glove box kits. What a difference! The glove box went from being stuffed and unorganized to having a lot of extra space somehow. Same with center console. Now i can keep stuff at the top where it is easy to get to.

Well Chloe after watching you (and the ease) switch out the headlights / tail lights I was all set to get some smoke lens LED's for both - then saw they are illegal in our neck of the woods. Even found a smoke lense MOD for the rear view mirrors. I'd just do it except guessing that ticket would be about $350 and have to keep switching stuff back and forth. Guess a couple of these MOD's will do for now. Trying to figure out this offset rim deal. These trucks handle so much better with a wider stance, looks good too. Keep up the good work Chloe!
For my Gen2 Taco, I disassembled a usb cig lighter charger, and silicone mounted it up above the compass housing when I had it down to repair the temp/compass resistors. Tapped into always powered map lights, and I'm now running a dash/window cam to catch the next ding dong that runs a red light. Some pics over at TacomaWorld on the usb hack for those with Gen2 Tacoma's. Thanks for sharing your mod work.

Hi Chloe, I have a functional mod to do actually on any truck. I bought a Tire Valve Stem Extension. I bought it on Amazon it comes in a pack of 2. The purpose is to check the spare tire pressure without dropping it down to the ground. I don't have video to show but what I did was I connected the two extensions together then one end to the spare tire and drop the other end to the under side of tire. Now when you have to check the tire pressure you don't have to lower the tire. Todd

Great mods, the camera one I will have to check out. When I replaced my map lights on my 21 TRD Off Road, I popped the entire console down and then replaced the bulbs from the top side. WAY EASIER than the tape or screwdriver trick. I found that vid on YT somewhere! Thanks for the great content!

I've done the seat hackers and OEM bed lights. I have interior lighting upgrade in an online shopping cart. Great minds think alike, LOL.

Honestly I thought the interior LEDs were cool at first, but later actually found them quite annoyingly bright.. And a passenger using the vanity mirror while I was driving was actually dangerous at night. I switched back to them halogens, much easier on the eyes.
Agreed. I honestly hate the trend of new vehicles having eye-scortchingly bright LEDs, both inside and in their headlights. Like, I really want to be able to see when I'm driving without another car blinding me or my passenger blinding me when they want to check their hair! I run the stock (for an 09) interior lights and am more than happy with them... part of me also loves the warm amber hue of incandescents in the interior...

Toyota also offers power locking assembly for the tail gate. So when you lock or unlock the doors.... the tail gate will lock and unlock as well.

Wholly seat jackers!!! I've been around Cars for 20 years. Professionally for over 12 and I've never heard if seat jackers! I'm 5'4" and tha taco isn't Short girl friendly. I'm grabbing some of those
If you don't need the bulbs anymore you can bull the interior light bulbs by using CA glue and a zip tie.

Cool mods. The dash cam power dongle is great. I’m gonna order me one for my 4R TRD Pro so I can finally get a dash cam. Been putting it off cause I didn’t want to wire it up. This will save a lot of time and be a lot cleaner.
I did the bed light kit on my 2016 Tundra TRD Pro when I had it.
Yea, that Dongar Adapter is pure genius. I wouldn't have put a dash cam in my truck if I had to wire it. I installed it and ❤ it!

I just got my 22 TRD OF tacoma and the first thing I did was ordered the screen protech. Can't wait for it to arrive. Everything else in this video will eventually happen.

Great video. You make the installations less intimidating. I am going to install the seat jacker based on your recommendation and the bed lights. By the way, has Garmin improved their dash camera? I want to install this mod but, I read reviews that the camera has a tendency to over heat.
I have not had the Garmin Mini 2 long enough to tell whether it's better than the gen 1. I'll eventually make an update video!

What i did to my f150 xlt 4x4 so far is added remote start have a viofo cam led bublights n led reverse lights just put on a mx4 bakflip bed cover wish i could do more but im too broke n owe too much money on the truck n credits ohh i also put a super 40 exhaust on the truck n thats about it haha

Interesting on the seat jackets. I always feel on a long trip on my 2020 Pro I’m just sitting so flat even with the front elevated.
I replaced the stock 245/75/16 tires with BF Goodrich KO2 all terrain tires 265/75/16 and then I removed the Toyota Badges and installed some wheel locks and I spare tire lock and I like it a lot

How do you keep your dash cams stuck to the windshield ?
Quick tip on installing new map lights: use a small flat head screwdriver and put the tip toward the base of the bulb and gently pry. It will come right out.
That sounds way easier than the tape method!

Hello Chloe. When you install the bed lights. Do they only turn on when the vehicle is running or only if the lights are on? And are they always on ?
my adapter quit working after 2 weeks (bought directly from dongar). gonna have the cam hardwired later this week now just to get the features of the dash cam for when the truck is off.

Have you heard about people loosing their overhead console due to changing to LED’s. I did then found a thread on Tacoma World talking about it. My Taco is a 2016 and really liked the LED upgrade but loosing the console was the pits..
