A great video and very good information Fingers. The many years that I’ve been riding, I’ve had a tool bag on my bikes but very few tools. But I do carry something for pain because of my shoulder. Being a insulin diabetic, I don’t go far from home anymore, so I can shoot up twice a day. And SO FAR…knock on wood…I haven’t needed or seen anyone that needed any first aide. I do have some large tie wraps and towels but I’ve never needed them yet either. If I were able to go on long rides like you do, I know I’d carry those things you mentioned.
Phil - being a type 2 diabetic myself I know the hassle the disease can cause. I’m fortunate enough not have to use a needle (as of yet). With all of your life experiences I’d feel confident you could handle most any issues the road could throw at a guy.
@@FingersFew Thanks for that vote of confidence Brother. I have seen a lot and been to several places but I know there’s MANY that I’m not going to go to. But I can’t look back and say my life was dull because it wasn’t.
Great information I've kept a first aid kit for years with me but that head lamp is a good ideal I'm getting one, flashlight can be a pain working on the bike or setting up camp or whatever. Thanks brother ride safe
Robert most serious biker I know carry at minimum a small first aid kit. It’s just one of those things you figure out while on the road. Yes, I love the headlamp. You can spend a little or a decent amount on them depending on the features you want. The one I have in the video I bought at REI from a clearance bin for about $20.
Thank you Doctor Fingers! Another one of those obvious common sense items that is easily forgotten. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Stay safe my brother.
Fingers a First aid kit is smart, surprised you didn't include some Heavy Painkillers like Fentanyl?, The U.S. seems to be flooded with the stuff, Honey for a itchy Bum?, Good Vork
We’ll done Brother, be safe
Everyone should have a kit for sure !
Heck yea brother! Thanks for watching MSG.

Again, great advice. Just like your tool kit, hopefully you will never need it. Anyone who rides should have basic first aid education.
Thanks for watching Doug. Yes, it’s just good common sense to carry a kit and know how to use it.
I have tampons for bullet holes, and a couple pain killers besides the whiskey...
That’s forward thinking! Thanks for commenting John. I appreciate ya being here.
Benadryl for people who get stung by a bees and might be allergic
@@joemorrione2410 - that’s great advice. It helps reduce the effects of snake bites as well. Thanks for commenting!
