Hi, I couldn't find the whole story. I am slowly beginning with woodworking, but I already have the main electric tools. However, I am considering to migrate to handtools, one I really hate the dust and noise of the machines. I would love to see more about your store to understand and to learn more about this new wold for me. Please, tell me with you have more videos like this, because I didn't find in the playlists. Thank you!

My journey in only using hand tools started as a constraint: there's no power in my garage. Embracing it and learning the skill is very rewarding. If there's power in my next workspace, I probably won't use it for anything other than lighting or vacuuming.

I actually started with steel. And to this day i love the beautiful sighto of a glowing red, molten puddle of steel under my oxy-acetylene torch...
But a few years ago i decided to give a shot to spoons. And i knew my grandpa had a wood workshop... So now i'm making spoons, cups and other stuff out of the wood, just as a hobby :)

    Tools and Moves,
I hate the way these 2 events effect our system of production and organization…
During one upheaval of events with my children, all 3 still not even in elementary school, we had to move 9 times in 2 years!!!

I know the drill and I only have a Boash drill but as for the rest, I am powerless ever though I get some sleep.

I really do enjoy all your videos explaining how hand tools works. It feels like a lost art.
Someone who has been raised on power tools, where do you find all the info for hand tools?

Thanks. A lot of the history comes from the MWTCA. Most of the method comes from a series of teachers.

Try moving to a small house/flat at the top of a close/tenement then every day you need cary everything down then do the job then cary them back up again. You would go work in an office if that was your day

I have power tools but I would rather work with hand tools. I love toe feel the steal moving through the grain of the wood and hear the sound of it rather than having to put on hearing protection to cut a peace of wood.

Hand tools are fun but take way too long to master.
I just made a laptop stand with hand tools and it's definitely not the best. Would've been much better if I used a table saw and pin nailer.
