You do realize there were more apostles than the 12. Barnabas was an apostle...others were named apostles beyond the 12.
The word literally means "sent one" and there are still people who do that today. We call them missionaries. They fulfill an apostolic role in a literal sense.
We don't have apostles in the sense of the 12 today - witnesses of the resurrected Christ who spent time in the ministry...but we do have people who have an apostolic function who fit the very definition of the word itself.

The bible does speak that in the end days there will be men who have a form of godliness but denying its powers.
Yes Apistles do exist and yes gifts do exist, so does true faith in what the bible says, I have seen all of the above... and more (unfortunately). Not everything is fun to see.

You believe there are modern day apostles?

@colin_priest I have seen glorified pastors who call themselves apostles because of an anointing, never leaving the comfort of their church.
I have only seen one who is an apostle so far, I am not saying there are no other but can only speak about what i have seen, and that is David Lynn of Christministries, he doesn't call himself as such but just between you and me, he is one, and I wouldn't tell him as I wouldn't want to risk being a stumbling block.
He has suffered persecution, arrest on numerous occasions, he personally set up 24 different churches on 3 Continents can/USA, Europe and Australia. And for having been a part of cfm mtl I can testify and say there is an anointing to this group.

Apostle refers to one sent, literally a messenger, so says the Greek. It can also, as used in the NT, refer to the office intuited by Christ specifically, the requirements to fill that office outlines in Acts 1.
If you use apostle in the first sense, there is no need to use the word apostle unless you mean to deceive or control people.
If you use Apostle in the second sense, you apply to an office no one today can hold.
That being said, you commit a grave error in calling a brother, even if he is in error, an enemy of the Gospel.
You have a great deal of learning to do before you can consider yourself mature in the faith.
      Do better.

You're a Calvinist, and so your framework is already flawed. I guess God didn't elect you to "special apostlehood"

I believe anyone who places faith in Christ is the elect, but I’m definitely not an apostle!
