- In this Tajikistan Travel Vlog, we left Panjakent city to go into the Fann mountains in search of the great Haftkul, a natural formation of seven high altitude lakes with beautiful scenery, lush nature and turquoise blue waters!
We took the public minivan (marshrutka) from the Panjakent Bazaar to Shing Village, and then made our way slowly up the mountains from lake one to lake four. We hitchhiked and walked most of the way before reaching the guesthouse at lake four a few hours later, exhausted.

So amazing. The first 7 kms till lake 4 was so cool. Are there rental bikes or cycle available from Panjakent?
Not that we know of... But we did see some westerners riding their bicycles.. the journey further up to Lake 7 is harder 😅😅
@@TheBackpacksters oh. Then I am sure there are bike rental companies nearby. I love to trek. But only at places where it's not possible to take bike or car. Like EBC
