I want to thank everyone for all of the love you’ve sent Ellie Mae and I from this Millcast! Yes! Ellie did indeed go on to have three sets of lambs after her first try. Thanks so very much for listening! Oh! And the sweater, knit from Ellie Mae yarn and Ruben Gonzalez! The Petite knitter Icelandic sweater on Ravelry! Cheers everyone!!!!

A definite tear-jerker!
OK I'm crying now. Paula is so blessed to have witnessed that event. It reminds me of stories of growing up in a farming community in Wisconsin. Thanks so much for sharing.

We grieve because we love. Each in our own way.
Well said.
I am deeply moved by Paula's experience with her sweet flock and her beloved Ellie Mae, and by her warmth and intelligence and grace in telling us about it. Thank you, Peg and Amanda, for bringing it to us. 🐑
So glad you were touched by it as we were.
Paula is a true shepard. What an amazing story.
Indeed!
Drip drip my tears are rolling down my face.
Same here!
Thank you all for sharing another deeply personal and moving story. Paula has such an interesting background! I did an internship with American Dance Festival when I was studying arts administration and art history in Durham. Her comparison of the flock to modern dance resonates. How beautiful…if only all people were as empathetic. Find your flock! ❤️
So true!
Such a beautiful story! Thanks to Paula for sharing and to Peg and Amanda for bringing it to us.♥
Thank you for watching!
What a sweet story. Thank you for sharing. It reminds me that Jesus calls himself the Good Shepherd. And your flock surrounding your sheep Ellie and you is like the Body of Christ supporting their fellow church members. We rejoice when they rejoice and we weep alongside them when they weep.
We all really felt that story!
Beautiful experience.
We all really felt that story!
oh -- what a heartfelt story and how very traumatic for Ellie as a sheep mom to have such raw emotion for her lost baby. Thank you for sharing -- what a moment to witness and see the sheep respond to her and show just how much they do feel emotion and are sentient loving beings-- and then see this circle repeated for you. How can anyone not just love animals for their place in this universe. Love these interview -- 🥰
We all really felt that story!
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊
Love Paula! I bought some of her Demelza yarn at the Vermont S&W, and it's now a lovely cowl.

Why not?!☺️
Can you post the pattern for the sweater worn by the host with the color work?
That is the Eye Dazzler by Native Knitter!
