And I also need advice on whether I should sign with an agency that is Interested in me here in Botswana or keep trying my luck with the bigger international agencies.?
depending on how "hot" you are or how "unique" you are, the call back may take weeks or sometimes even months. and i suggest not putting all your eggs into one basket, keep submitting to other agencies but don't shy away from your mother agency..that is..unless you get a better offer else where. good luck!
This is nice, I see, a lot of your viewers, are confused about, finding a agent, they might still be confused after, they apply to one of these agencies. If they don't get a reply, so many, people, are faced with agencies, who charge fees, (up front) and those agencies, don't care if your successful or not. The fees, help to pay their bills, if your lucky, you might find some work and some of them host their own fashion shows, (which many of them train you to be in) that might get you some experience. I hope, people, will think of modeling as a way to make extra income, (if they have other career objectives) this way you will, know, if your ahead of the game, according to your expenses.

I’ve recently been applying to agencies, and I was just contacted by Crawford Models and Ford Models this week, who are both interested in signing me. I’ve never heard of Crawford before so I’m assuming it’s probably not the best option for me, but my question is this: should I accept the offer from Ford Models, or should I wait to see if an agency I love more will get back to me? Would modelling agencies be able to reconsider you if you reapplied? For example, if I submitted my images to Wilhelmina a year ago and they rejected me, could I reapply this year?

The height rlly doesn’t matter. It’s all about your looks and personality, if they sign you to the agency you most likely won’t do runway but can do commercial shoots!☺️

From here applie to agencies either in NY or LA fashion is more NY commercial modeling is more LA. Best way to apply is go to a website called models.com and go to agencies theres section where you can choose the country and city of where the agencies are located

AFAIK you can't be part of various agencies
Because you can be represented by different agencies as long as you don't have a worldwide exclusive contract. Some top models have different agencies in various cities

I want to be a model and I live in Texas near Houston but when I try to look for agencies most of them cost THOUSANDS of dollars or they are a scam. My family and I aren’t rich and we can’t afford that even if we tried saving up. I want to start when I am young. Hey first thing take some Polaroids and do a video of you walking back and forth towards the camera twice stating your name and age. From here applie to agencies either in NY or LA fashion is more NY commercial modeling is more LA. Best way to apply is go to a website called models.com and go to agencies theres section where you can choose the country and city of where the agencies are located
