Happy to hear you speak more positively about boutique agencies (you haven't always!) I run a boutique agency in Germany and while I understand why some models might want to sign directly to big networks, I do beleive that for the majority of models, starting with a boutique agency gives them a much more positive experience both in the beginning and throughout their career. However, most important is that your managing agent/agency you feel comfortable talking to, asking questions to, and generally communicating with. Keep in mind that even boutique agencies can still sign their models to larger network agencies (IMG, Elite etc.) if/when they are ready, so the model can get the best of both worlds - a personal management experience, and the big clients with the big name agency. Not to mention, if the mother agent is good, they can negotiate a better contract for the model with the larger/network agencies. Better for a small agency develop a model until she is strong enough, than for the model to sit on a development board for years and years at a 'prestige' agency with a huge roster.

No trust me its not worth it a model cant get you into a big agency i believe you can get there on your own just trust me he wont do any good he’ll just ignore you babe you deserve to get out there without the need of some douchebag i just know you will get there on your own
