The skintone after actually looks cooler, not warmer, but it also looks much less shiny and plasticly, like everything else. I'm so thankful for that change, because I haven't liked the "dodge tool" shiny plastic look that unfortunately SN mostly has. The difference between SN and LM is really stark when it comes to colour variety and texture of clothes. Competition between companies is always good for the comsumer, and here we have one of the outcomes of that :)
@@elentari15 I feel like it looks "less soft" in the new version, which makes a big difference. I agree that competition is good, why even improve if the consumer doesn't compare right? 😁
The darker skin tones got way lighter.. i hope they add more skin tones to make up for that :(

I am very excited too for this update! I am good to go on my tablet, but I have to desinstall it on my phone in order to have some space (being doing it for a while anyway). Hope it runs on my phone as well!
I've been doing that with my old phone kind of, I'm sure it won't run on there anymore then sadly 😢

That might be one reason, but I think even without it is still lighter than the original without bloom too 🥺

I think the loading times are so horrible
They def feel faster on the TW server so it should be the same for global aswell
@@Alice-yq6yy yes it will improve the loading speed! But it also depends on your phone wether it can handle it 🙈

I'm not excited for the update. I'm pretty sure I'll be quitting the game once i give it a try.
I hate how the skin looks now. Not just the dsts - that are butchered. Even the default one looks like a porcelain doll.
I'm not a fan of how much more "realistic" stuff looks. I quit Life Makeover for that same reason after a month.
While I've seen a lot of beautiful entries by CN players after the update, I've seen way too many outfits that look awful.
Also bugs galore!
Not to mention that since they've removed the game feedback suggestions channel from discord there's no place for players to actually come together and voice their concerns. So my complaints will clearly fall on deaf ears.
@@rosesandthorns4289 I totally understand your point, not being able to express ones concerns is frustrating. I'm not sure why they decided to do that, but I hope they will listen to any feedback given after the update to further improve the DST looks.
I think the liking of the "realism" is very much depending on ones taste, I like the shadows much more than before for example.
I never played Life Makeover because I feel like it would bother me that they are too realistic, too.
I hope you will give SN another chance maybe, because I'd hate to see you leave out of frustration 🥺
