I want to know if it can work from the inside of the goal coming out.. that would be suuuper useful if so. Not very often do you leave backboard to go into the goal.
@@TopDogRL the mechanic is just that when you are near enough stopped on the post, your car wraps itself around the post. I'm just doing the opposite of a wall dash to stop my car just as I hit the post, no reason it can't be done from inside of the post to the backboard. I haven't managed to do it though because I struggle hitting wall dashes at low speed and I can't get much speed from inside the post
That's crazy, I've actually been working on the Turtle Reset mechanic (mostly as a troll shot) but that breakdance catch used the mechanic suuper cleanly and way better than I ever could.. Would be super unlikely you'll get that kind of space to hit in comp but would love to see it!

The reverse post entry, the poop scoop and jung flick could all be used in competive play at different times. It just makes the game a lit harder for the opponent to read if you have all these options of things you could do, you could fake diving at the ball and just go to the side of youe net, fake a soft touch with the poop scoop but then launch it and get a really powerful flick with the jung flick which makes people respect that you can get insane power frim being positioned forward or backwards.
The post entry, imo, was the most useful new mechanic. And by the term "new mechanic", the one I was expecting to win. The Jung Flick is a great flick for freestyling, and does have some practical use to it. I could see both mechanics being used in pro play, but honestly, I've 100% accidentally hit a flick like that before and I think it's cope for anyone above diamond to say that they haven't. I've never entered the post like that before tho. But what makes the post entry seem so useful to me is that if we can use that to get inside the net, that means we can probably also use it to get OUT of the net, a net exit. Which I think would be exceptionally useful, especially in pro/high level play where we see a lot more solid bumps meant to displace the opponent instead of just demoing them, which could respawn them in a better position. Imagine getting bumped into your own net and then pulling off this mechanic to drive perfectly onto your crossbar and be ready for the save. I think that's much more useful than another flick of hundreds, albeit nowhere near as flashy.
Bro what’s crazy, I’ve been doing flicks like this after resets for a while. Even have clips on my channel of it. Never thought it was “new” or anything special. Just figured it’s another way to hit a reset😂🫣
@@MotionsRL yeah I asked around for clips of it on reddit and got some people claiming to do it on accident sometimes(and I've even seen people do it on accident in ranked), only clip anyone had was like 80 or 90 kph though. The point is that there's a technique to get it faster than a musty flick and to get it to launch straight forward for perfect double tap setups. It's like someone backflipping into the ball and "smacking" it, which I'm sure happened a million times before the Musty was "invented", vs doing consistent musty's and "flicking" the ball every time. Still curious about clips of legit ones though, do you have any links or video names?
Mechanics I invented: (i think so anyways) FEEDBACK WOULD BE APPRECIATED 1. Flip Takeoff: Basically a front flip but you pull back at the end so that you go 315 degrees, which puts you at a 45 degree angle between up and forwards, the same as tilting your car back. the advantage of this to a regular take off is that you get the front flip at the start for extra speed. the fast aerial version of this is where you jump and then do the mechanic. i think it could work with a speed flip as well if you do a pogo halfway through the speedflip, but ill never pull it off 2. Bonnet Slide: Basically a musty flick movement but you do the flip later, so that the front of your car slides on the ground, it's useful for faking a flick and also gives you an unpredictable burst of speed after the bonnet of your car stops touching the ground, since the bonnet of your car has almost no friction so you just glide over the ground and suddenly go fast. 3. Wavepinch: Diagonal Wavedash where you use the corner of your car to pinch the ball into the ground or even wall to spice it up. 4. Fling: Could actually be an entire range of mechanics, it is doing a flick motion without the actual flip, so that it has less power and it goes a different trajectory to what the goalie might expect.
top 2 were the jung shot and the enter the goal from side one. the jung was practical probably for gc and up, and the enter the goal is useful for all ranks really.
