great video but defo should have gone for a drive to get some engine sounds and some pulls on the motorway
Thanks again for another epic Video of my car Trevor! 👍😘
And for sale! Lovely job you’ve done here, but no road test on the video?
Great review, good luck with the channel!
Thank you so much. Thank you for your support. Its early days.
Ultimate sleeper and Tim’s is a great example 👍🏾. Slightly biased as I have the same car and great video!
It's a contender for the 5 car dream garage for sure.
I've owned my Ming Blue B5 S4 for 20 years and have now covered 306k miles. It's my daily driver (despite owning several other cars) and I love driving it. On balance I prefer driving the S4 over the RS4 as the power band is low in the rev range and you can just ride that torque.
These cars are bullet proof.. I didn't realise you could cover so many miles in them.
Great video! Since I'm currently on the lookout for one of those, I'm consuming content like this like crazy. Sadly the prices for S4s are climbing like crazy here in Switzerland as well.... Anyways, keep on going, and good luck with your channel!
Can you not go to Germany and buy one?
@@RollingSlowMedia Technically yes, and maybe the prices are a bit lower there. But generally speaking, swiss cars are (with some exceptions of course) better maintained. Here we have the MFK (swiss TÜV/MOT whatever you want to call it) every 2 years, and one point is, that they want you to show the car clean. So before we show a car there, we wash the engine bay and the chassis. And depending on where you go for your MFK, they are really picky even when it comes to some edge rust on the brake discs for example. So when a car comes with fresh MFK, it's most of the time in decend shape/condition. As conclusion: yes, I could get one in Germany, but it would probably come with some work left to do (not that there's never work to be done on one of those).
@@marvinboss1856 I just sold my 99 imola avant to my mechanic... hes going to finish it up and list it for sale. if you really are interested I can put you in contact with him. I bought it in St.Gallen about 5-6 years ago, had bad synchros so I had the transmission rebuilt with JHM carbon synchro + upgraded 1-2 collar, new flywheel and stronger clutch as it had k04 and RS4 down pipes and sportec exhaust and i was planning to go stage 3. It also has porsche 993 brakes up front with braded brake lines all around and rear slotted disk and a smaller raid steering wheel with airbag, everything written on car doocuments, alway fun when i got pulle dover to show how everything is legal ;) . Once I got all parts installed : pierlburg e3l fuel pump, awe intercoolers, 550cc injectors, 3bar map sensor i had engine problems, metal shavings went through all engine so I had it completely rebuilt it. I had the block and heads machined and resurfaced, piston, rods, better oil pump (i think the diesel one from the tuner) also heads were re build with new chain tensioners, valves and lifters and lifter caps, I also had to replace 2 camshafts because they were ruined, I also had the turbos rebuilt, (BW k04). I also had the headliner redone professionally.I ended up leaving to the US so i kept it in storage for a year, now that i came back to renew my visa I decided to sell it and I did so 1 month ago. I have no idea what he will ask for it as he is doing bodywork before reselling so that it looks mint. The chassis has 180,000km but a new engine, i did 1000km break in before leaving, didnt even get to enjoy it :( The rebuilt transmission , new clutch + flywheel has less than 10,000km on it. It will be hard to beat finding something in better condition. I am from Ticino
