I don't believe I'd want a quad steering vehicle. Can you image all the mechanics involved in adding steering to the rear wheels. I like as simple as possible. I do wish it was possible to turn off the front or rear motor, when not required. I believe this would increase the range.
I believe most people don't realize that even ICE vehicles loose mileage range in the winter. Also range drops significantly when towing with an ICE vehicle depending on the trailer weight and aerodynamics. I guess a true comparison would be , to put the equivalent cost of fuel in an ICE vehicle that equals the cost to fully charge the lightning and compare the range of the 2 vehicles . At winter kwh charges I pay 8 cents per kwh so I can fully charge my lightning if it was totally discharged for $10.48. I could pretty much guarantee the lightning will out perform any ICE truck, that only has $10.48 worth of fuel.
The lightning lariat & platinum does have an update that will allow you to adjust all heating and cooling with the volume knob 4.1.2

Quad steering has been around a long time my 96 prelude has it and it’s never been an issue
