Like the transition between the clip and the outro is a bit too sudden and differs in volume, maybe that a little volume fade in would help? In any case, appreciate ur content a lot :)
Eh, I still consider Dan Heng to be human despite the 1.2 reveal. In fact, I could even argue he's the most human of the Astral Express trio since the Trailblazer and March are obviously not only human with their unusual abilities and physical appearances and they pretty much embrace it. While Dan Heng is rather very much reserved about it compared to those two.
I like how March and Dan Heng’s interactions is clearly March trying to prod him out of his shell and he’s shutting her down without being rude. While Boothill is just being himself and Dan Heng doesn’t really know him, so he can discard the attempt at being tactful with him.

In this case it was just because they saw how Boothill got popular, cause they never learn to think by themselves.
As fun as the chaos and chemistry between the VAs can be, it"'s fascinating when someone like Molly and Nick takes a moment to just discuss their craft or perspective on the game's storytelling.
Their dynamic was sooo cool and fun, Boothill it's just so charming, and Dan Heng interacting with him was just such a cutie. My fav duo, can't wait for get the cowboy now to be with his homie
I would like if he at least visit from time to time,maybe to visit his bro Dan Heng or sort. I know he a lone ranger as a job but I want more excuse of screentime 😞🙏
I do love that even amongst all the silliness and utter difference in their personalities, these two are still able to talk about philosophy essentially and even find that they have some similar views. Overall it was such a fun scene and I love hearing Nick's insights on recording for it

One thing I love with Star Rail is that the overarching theme the game has is basically taking control or deciding what you do moving forward on your own without just leaving it some outside force to do it for you. We saw that when we rejected the Stellaron's power in Belobog, the time when Belobog rejected the IPC's offer, when Dan Heng became DHIL, and when we freed people from The Order because we believed that only individual people know what they want to do with their lives, not some outside force that we don't understand. That's what made that final fight with Sunday so good. It's not just the fight itself, it's a battle of the wills in the idea of either letting someone decide for you in such way that they know what's best for you OR you do the deciding yourself and you embrace what happens both good and bad.
I really love boothill and dan heng's dynamic too, its like the friendship where the extrovert one adopts and drags along that introvert everywhere.. i didn't see this pair coming and it worked😅

I had a realization the other day that the conversation with Dan & Boothill about Paths is basically a reference to Nietzsche and his ideas about the "death" of Christian morality post-Enlightenment. Basically, "Akivili is dead", and now the Nameless must find their own morality for themselves.
This is what i want from all vas! Yes i love them being goofy and all but i really really want to know your take on your character along with your reaction to the game and its scenes. I want to know how you recorded it, how you felt, how much fun it was, how you see your character and his interactions with other characters. Its so refreshing and awesome to see Nick being so passionate about Dan heng and understanding him so well. I would love to watch more of these kind of takes on other scenes in the game too! Especially the eagerness to use the jad abacus of the allying oath because that was hilarious.
I really wish I could catch his streams he’s really loosened up and gotten more into discussing being Dan hang and expressing his thoughts on the story like man. Thank god for clips but ugh still. This is like so detailed from his perspective.
I really love how Nick took some time to uncover some background of his job. Also, like he really went deep in explaining the lore and his character! Such a precious simping man ❤❤❤
actually food called dynamite exists, dynamite is basically 1 big whole chili pepper removed its insides and seeds then put meat inside, wrapped with lumpia wrapper then fry it.
and also the talk about writing is so true. i like how hsr does that, cus every character chooses their paths, but that's not the end of the story, they still develop in some ways. hsr shows consequences of their choice and what each of them are facing. every character feels alive, bc you understand what they want and that's why i love hsr so much. plus the 2.2 gave us so much in the more significant lore department. like he said, they planted the seeds and i can only hope, that those seeds will grow in something beautiful.🩷

You can tell Dan Heng is kinda a hard role for him because he likes being more goofy and animated and Dan is a really stoic character
