Your videos and explanations are great!!! Very easy to follow and understand. I've had lots of years of kiting but not much time on the water, this is very helpful!!

This happens to me allot when jumping. Steering the kite Just saves it. But even then its on the edge of stalling. I try to focus on keeping a edge on takeoff but does not seem to help alot. Im flying a 2018 bandit. Any tips?

When jumping its normally caused by 1 of 2 things...bringing the kite too far past 12 on the up stroke or not redirecting it down again when you hit the zenith of the jump, causing you to pendulum under the kite and end up in front of the kite.

How about this? As you are descending in your jump, the apparent wind for the kite moves the wind window forward. When you hit the water, the vertical element to the apparent wind stops so now the kite is in front of the window. To prevent that you must turn the kite just before landing in the direction you want to go so it is in the normal window when you land.
I am a physics guy but beginner kiteboarder, so may be full of crap on this one.

Happened to me when learning to jump, landed with the kite on top and behind me...

Thats a little different, it's caused by not returning the kite to its start position (ie bringing it back down) quickly enough also possibly combined with sending the kite too far past 12 when you initiate the jump...still a horrible sensation!
