For anyone wondering where the moonstone shard can be:
The moonstone
The barn
The entrance to the totems
The 31 door
The den under the windclan rock overhang
Between windclan and the gorge
Carrionplace
Where is the entrance to the totems?
I found one at kittypet on the cat tower upstairs by the window in the hall!

I'm disappointed of how the devs never thought of ways to prevent people from stealing the placed pieces such as by making them lock in place or some sort once they're placed on the correct spot on each 4 of them, another thing is that the summon can be ruined just with someone standing on the middle spot (Not sure if this is true however) but this whole event has been a true sisyphus experience for me getting it done on pub servers
true! One time I was on a dead server with my friend, and we were talking, since everything was ready, and all that was left was for the moon to arrive in place. when it was finally night, 8 or more people appeared out of nowhere, and one of them stole the items, I spent 1 hour in vain!

I don’t think it’s ruined if you stand in the middle, some people kept walking on it to prove that and it ended up fine
Nothing changes if you stand on the black hole according to someone in a public server who did the event 5+ times
Ik there where these ppl who where ‘protecting the items’ but all the did was just hold them and didn’t put them down

I find it hilarious that they keep stating the npcs are not real and then for Halloween or April fools they always do smth abt blink.

I will admit, I’m excited to see what they come up with next for an event. Why? Because, if you hold the broken collar, and look at it closely…there’s a tag with the SkyClan symbol on it, a tree. Possible foreshadowing that they will FINALLY add SkyClan???
Edit: Side note, I’m LOSING IT, with my issues with hunting in this game on my phone. Is anybody else having these issues where you’ll be following a scent, it leads to a dead end, but someone else happens to be tracking the same trail, and they manage to hunt the animal and make it appear? I don’t know if it’s just me, but according to people I’ve asked who aren’t on mobile don’t seem to have that problem. The devs need to look into this, hunting is so much harder in this game when playing on a phone!
I had that same problem as yours too mate I play on mobile too but when there's no animal appearing on the sent track path or something, I just go look around and ignore the prey scent things and I sometimes got a prey or two but for me it's rare to catch a prey especially when I get bored real quick
@@claustro131 Right?! So it’s not just me, what the hell, game devs?! They need to fix that, the hunting system is already janky af, as much as I wanted that damn update to come out, I could’ve waited until they had perfected it, or at least made sure it was useable on all mediums.

My server kept crashing and I kid you not, I tried the event 17 times. I COUNTED. almost threw myself out the window after some kid stole the notched stick right before moonhigh.

TIME TO ANSWER SOME COMMON QUESTIONS-
As someone who just finished all this drama and ritual half an hour ago…here’s my experience points:
The ritual will not be ruined if:
You stand on the middle spot
There’s someone touching the black ring around the middle spot
To help with items being stolen:
I had some extra helpers in the server bring random stuff like leaves inside, and after I put down the branch (I was in charge of that) I took a leaf and placed it down too before I sat on it, that way they either can’t see the item or they pick up the leaf. It might minimise the chance of your items being stolen from the pedestals!
Always have someone ready to run to the moon crystal thingy locations, which are at
The moonstone
The barn
The 31 door
And carrionplace
TIPS TO MAKE YOUR ATTEMPT SMOOTHER:
Make sure everyone has a role
And there is a plan.
Appoint a ritual LEADER and HELPER
The helper will assist the leader in doing role calls, for example.
In the server I was in, we did a check in the daytime, for example:
“SAY HERE IF YOURE PRESENT!”
Then whoever is checking procceeds to call:
“MUSHROOM BEARER HERE?”
It’s much easier to make sure everything is there!
Too boring while waiting? I recommend singing random duet songs to pass the time.
The LEADER sits in the middle, and checks for the moon.
When they say “PLACE.” “GO” or whatever, all the items are placed down.
Make sure moon shard thing is ready.
When your items start levitating and glowing red after a few seconds, this is about the time the moon shard has to be taken into the cave or close.
DO NOT wait until the moon has passed. The shard MUST be in before then.
And…that’s it! These tips helped me and a few total strangers become besties after working together. And yes the badge is worth it-it’s so pretty as well as the accessories!

I'm so happy I got to finish this event. Getting free items after doing work feels amazing. I'm thankful that you posted this because I had been stuck on certain parts while doing it by myself.
It took me three hours to complete this event. Mostly due to the fact that the 31 door was closed. And I was confused on what to do for another hour before finally finding this tutorial. •﹏•

Thanks to this, I finally got the accs! Tysm! This was my first event ever and man it was not fun having to go blind, the devs not giving any actual help anywhere kinda screwed everyone bc they went further and left us to dry (not handholding is one thing, but this game is full of children and neurodivergent people that don't do good with vagueness, my autistic ass was going fucking insane bc we can be especially bad with it). So you kinda saved the server I was in there as following this I essentially guided the whole server doing so. ;o;
same but I already knew I wasnt going to know how to do it so I instanlty searched zp a tut :,)
I’ve got adhd and waiting for the night was the worst part for me, or doing the puzzle. It was do freaking loong i almost gave up
I am very dissapointed because of that too. I do not have any disorder, but I love researching on mental disorders and learning about them, especially about autism. The event made me lose my mind even thought I am a complitely healthly person. The devs should have thought about that group of people too. It's frustrating.

I think so but I just left the server and joined another one, tedious and annoying but now you know what your doing its much faster also once you put everything on the right stands you have until the sun rises to find the moonstone! I realised that the second time round :')

I have a tip for the prey puzzle:
instead of hunting the prey, try looking for it in the clan's fresh-kill piles. It's way quicker than hunting it by yourself

Mine was broken, it was already open from the beginning (unsure how 😭) So basically i got the items from other's people work which i still feel bad for. But good job on the video! It was very helpful and simple, did the first few parts without knowing i already unlocked the badge.
love this tutorial! the only major complaint is that you is never said WHERE you go in the tunnels for the pedestals- it’s a fricking maze 💀 i’d give it a 5 if you added directions in there lol

In changelogs I believe it said that there might be a phase 3
@@agnesleung9812 i dont think so, as we never found out where dawnie and tigress went. Nor did we find what was spooking all the kittypets and rouges in the barn. Im pretty sure that the feline that we saw was the trespasser, although i might not be correct.

@@wingsofatlantis The devs handled (or rather their lack of handling thereof) phase 2 TERRIBLY imo so I honestly hope they see how chaotic and frustrating phase 2 is/was for many and NOT leave us out to dry again...

Edit: also, i received the amulet badge, but i cant use the accesory. The npcs are gone, i cannot redo the event.

I’m crying rn because I just spent 3 hour looking for a frog and never found one. Then I realized I misplaced the badger fur and collar so when back to mothermouth to see they both despawned 😢
I got so lucky once! I joined a server to do the quest but then i found out that they were ALLMOST DONE?! i got stuck around a part of a quest so i asked for help after a quick run I DID IT ?! (Ofc i did help with the puzzle and i did complet it ) BUT I HAPPY TO SAY that it was so fun!

Okay, so for this I seriously recommend going in a smaller server. You can even do it on your own, I managed to spawn the Moonstone with only two-three people. It won't work in a full server, it's always so chaotic so I just don't think you should waste ur time there.
Fr the server I joined was so chaotic I just lefted
After a lot of chaos, my server finally got everything. But OF COURSE some kid had to show up and steal the stick a moment before moonhigh. Almost slit my throat after that 💀

I was so close to doing it and only needed the beaver fur. Then randoms came in and ruined the puzzle when i was about to finish it. Idk how to do it easily cause of those people 😭
um anyone had a problem with taking the things to the pedastals? I can only pick up one at a time, idk if anyone else can, took collar to the cave and came back to the badger fur gone so I now have to spend another hour and a half doing the puzzle. Wish me luck.
Yeah, that's the default. Honestly not very well thought out, so I recommend going to a very small server with alts or friends to hold the items.
Literally spent who knows how long doing this event bc a random person just went and ruined the placement of the items, and right as I fixed it the night went away 😭

Hi! I missed the event as I got bored of/dropped the game during this time, but now that I am back, I found this computer terminal/glowing crystal thingy in the tunnels by Mothermouth and I am wondering if it is related to this event. The "computer terminal" has a green screen and a bunch of little black markings on display, and on the back of the device it reads "CRIMSON CORP" in faint glowing letters. If you sit by it long enough, a message will appear at the bottom of your screen saying something like "you feel as though you are being watched". Will anything happen after this? Since the device is labeled Crimson Corp I assumed it was related to the event, but I have no idea. Can someone please explain what it is?
