The golguppa used a more pudina based water while phuchka uses imli water. The Puri is also more maida based and does not have so much suji in them. And finally puchka is served in a dried leaf plate and not a thermoplastic plate so that you have a single Puri at a time. The smell of the plate also adds to the flavor as well. Every element is different and therefore they taste very different.
Have you been to delhi and ate gol gappas? I see you didn’t because gol gappas DO NOT have ONLY chana lol.. like seriously? It has boiled potato and white/black chana as well. Plus the puri in gol gappe is much thicker and tastier Please don’t misguide others!
