The map is definitely a little bit scuffed right now. But Atlas creative did say they will be trying their hardest to make it a 1:1 version to the original chp 1 map the more UEFN grows. And because of the memory issue they removed the prison,supply drops and floor loot etc. They also said they plan on adding floor loot and pumps back as soon as possible.

@@grimmjaw02 I think if they combine ground game and Zero build, you get a game mode with the zero build gimmick with limited builds.
I’ve heared that Reboot royale are making a 1:1 replic of og fortnite map with the same og graphics and sounds
The crystals in the chests are just there as a filler to make the lootpool work. Also the time it takes to open a chest can’t be controlled, it’s just an issue with chests in creative.

@@kinxya-ef4pe yeah, but as far as I know it couldn’t be randomised. A weapon would have to be manually placed down at every floor loot area, which would take up A LOT of memory
For some reason, I thought the UEFN would be more powerful/versatile, kind of how the Roblox engine is infinitely escalable and workable. This is disappointing, from Epic's side at least

So I’ve been making maps for a long time but you can make random ground loot with the weapon spawned device and everything else he said at first is true
Once the map gets fixed I hope they make a battle lab version so we can get a real good look at the chapter one map without worrying about other players and storm.

Battle lab got removed a long time ago
@@coolandamazingchicken6165 I know the official battle labs was removed a while ago. But people had made a creative mode version of battle labs ever since epic added the current battle royale island to the creative mode template islands. So while the original battle labs is gone you can create your own battle labs in creative mode. Even more so with creative 2.0
This is so cool that teams have been working on creating the old maps! Everyone forgets that chests took longer to open & way less loot on the map back then. Lol so fun & Nostalgic!
Chest didn't take that long, and there's no floor loot on the map (due to limitations)

Thank you Tabor for making this video. Brought memories back to chapter 1. Support a creator code is brought back, if you go to the item shop it's placed at the bottom overlay with white lettering
They removed the floor loot and prison+a few additional props since they needed to remove 30k memory while also keeping it generally the same
Tabor should make more spectator commentary in these fights, they make the matches sound WAAAAY better!😂👍

For floor loot they’d have to place an item spawner device in the spot the floor loot should spawn. Thousands of item spawners is a lot of memory and all of those items spawning in at the beginning of the game would lag

I find it crazy that people want the og map back, the current map is way better plus this game is all about change every season. That’s why Fortnite is still popular after so many years! If it stayed the same the game would have died a long time ago.
It's been such a long time since we had the old things. So we just want to play some of the old because even changes can get boring

I wanna play the Chapter 1 map (even though I started in C2S4) because it doesn't hurt my eyes seeing the graphics (literally). The texture artstyle was just perfect, and idk why they changed it to make it realistic. If i want realistic graphics, I go outside.
And it's way more chill of an experience. Nobody seems to build much, and I'm hoping it'll stay this way and get updates to remove the sweating parts (turbo build, etc).

The mini map is very bugged because the map is so big that the map can’t see it all, and they can’t make a working battle bus that you can look around in just because creative modes capabilities, this is not even close to creative 1 though because the terrain and the size, right now it is very scuffed but soon there will be an update.

I was playing a different chapter 1 map yesterday and I think that you would enjoy it. It has the mini map and didn’t have climbing or sprinting or sliding. It’s called classic Royale and the map code is 6087-3081-5772 13:54

I think they should increase the memory for when you are making a map on fortnite editor. I don’t think Epic games knew that people would be creating bigger maps past the number they said. But let’s appreciate creators are trying 🙂
Nah they knew we were creating the og maps, i just think having so much open memory will make the game lag really bad
@@jacobjude6319 they should test it by increasing the memory little by little and see how the game runs before it lags. You know what I mean right? Like they increase it to 120 and see if any issues happen or if the game lags. And such. Like we want bigger maps for creative 2.0 not medium sized maps
@@slimeking886 I 100% agree with you, they could open so many opportunities if they increased the size. Not only that but they could also help by making it easier to get chests to drop random loot and floor drops to be all random
It wouldn’t necessarily lag but Tim Sweeney and Saxs Persson said in a Q&A that it would take forever to get into the game.
Hmm I was never really much of a fan of Chapter 1, so I don’t really have the nostalgia. I do however have fond memories of Chapter 2 Season 5 map. The ability to tunnel in the sand and interact with the cantina, and to see the Razor Crest. Awesome!

I incountered glitches a lot with this map but when I got a perfect match it was great
i believe the reason the mini map/map is like that is because that is roughly the size of a xl grid island

The chests take long to open because that's how long they were to open back then. There was never a storm warning either before.
The chests never took that long; only in Save The World. And there was always a storm warning back then! It is one of the most OG sounds.

The issues that happened was the og map was almost double the max memory and because there were so many people struggling to publish maps.

Back in season 1 quoting to play took longer... You get in the game but you had to wait around 5 minutes in spawn island

I’ve been a fan for like since chapter 2 season 2
While they did have to scale down the map in order to be able to publish it which led to some locations being taken out, it still has turned out better than I expected.

@@hatdag8395 how? everyone expected them to bring back the exact chapter 1 map with graphics and everything while forgetting there's a certain memory limit. It's in beta so this isn't even the final product, I'm sure they'll put all the other pois and floor loot and mini map back in when they can.

Issues just started when creative 2.0 officially released. They had the complete product but had to remove certain things and said this.

I mean for all we know they are working their butts off with the first update. My prediction is that they will get everything good with the first update and then a few more updates will be polishing up the game.
IDK if its me, A glitch or my internet, but there are some maps in the UEFN that are not loading on my XBox series S.
Tabor what happened was that they didn't know how much memory they used until it dropped to the public and it has 150,000 memory and they had to remove floor loot trees rocks ect. To get it under 100k memory
Tabor, when you have that sprint glitch, just sprint again and it should fix the issue.

They couldnt place some poi’s because of memory. The item spawners for floor loot also take so much memory. + it lags. The minimap is just an image i think lol. And the damage doesn’t change because you cant add or change weapons.
That is shadowshard crystal to evolve weapons and heroes in Save the World.
I just played and sprinting and parkour is taken out. The floor loot is spawned for me but the ammo is pretty much no existent still so you gotta be wise with shots

Nostalgiafocus season 1 map is the closet we’ll get to the original fortnite gameplay, it’s more accurate than atlas og battle royale because you can’t sprint or slide and loot pool is pretty accurate as well.

they really need the fix the map for creative and UEFN, you can't change the position so if your map is big it only take one part since its automatic generating.
The prob was memory, they were under before launch but when unreal editor came out it turned out they went 30,000 over the 100,000 limit.

Yea it doesn’t feel like the real Battle Royale It feels weird too it doesn’t feel actual battle Royale maps the maps kinda empty and it feels fake
