Hello..I think your footage of Donegal and Sligo is very well shot. It's a shame you don't make a bit of an effort in trying to get pronunciation of the place names right. There are rubbish bins in campsites which you seem reluctant to use. In Ireland we have to pay for the disposal of household rubbish hence no skips in evidence and why you were told off,in Donegal town,for putting it in a litter bin. Those of us who live along those narrow lanes you keep talking about have been tortured this summer by swarms of camper vans both large and small. Great fun for you parking in car parks,dunes and beauty spots but often an eyesore and pain in the neck for locals. My final point is you coming from the uk in the middle of a pademic and apparently not quarantining. Ok you are in your van but you are going into shops and service stations and going from place to place. Maybe I missed something. Sorry to moan but if I see one more camper van I will just scream.
Delia Given why be so miserable. Especially when you are talking rubbish. We did quarantine for 2 weeks longer than we had to. Most people we met were lovely but there is always one like you everywhere I suppose.

The stone birds look like Pheasants to me. I photograph them and that's how they usually stand to see above grass or while deciding what to do next when challenged by another male or when they see a human.

Enjoying the videos of this a new channel discovered! Wondering if it is just me, but I find that I have to put the sound up and down. When music is playing it is much louder than when Ken and Carol are talking
There are issues with the sound. When travelling I listen through headphones and also the ipad speakers and it all sounds great. Watch the same film via Apple TV and it’s unbalanced. Its driving me nuts at the moment as the editor I use (Lumafusion) has one volume level whilst editing and yet when the video is rendered its softer. I really don’t want to go back to a laptop as the ipad is so quick to use.

You past my fathers family home on the way to Keel. He used to shepherd on Sleivemore. I was last on Achill 2 years ago. A trip to Keem Bay would have been worth your while, but maybe some other time. Lovely video which brought back some lovely memories. Thanks for sharing

Another wonderful film with such unique beautiful scenery and history. The cliffs were spectacular views and your videos were amazing even without the drone shots. The abandoned stone buildings got me wondering why they just all left? Harsh weather? You mentioned the barriers not having height information. Let me ask you, what is the reason behind limiting height when there are no obstructions that would be an issue? I just don't understand limiting access when there is nothing that would cause any damages. Also, we have been enjoying the videos past and present.. Binging on the series videos. We've made a number of online friends that have the narrowboats but decided that we needed a change. Oh, yes, you two are relaxing to watch.

Thank you for your videos, but some of your mispronunciation of Irish names is making me giggle. I love the west coast of Ireland but the weather is tough and the wind is fierce, but when the sun ☀️ comes out, it is very beautiful!
Some great photography in Mayo, the best of your trip so far, in my opinion. But then I’m biased! Wind and rain a will always be your companions in that part of the world, but it’s on the edge of Europe, practically in the Atlantic, so it’s hardly surprising! Good luck on the rest of your trip.
We don’t mind the weather really and as you say its to be expected on the edge of the Atlantic. The only bummer is it shakes the camera lens. I will have to carry a bigger one for use when I am near the van. I can’t abide carrying it on a walk though so I will use the pocket zoom for that.

Another lovely video, I'm enjoying our trip! Grace O'Malley (Granuaile) there is a museum in the former Presbyterian Church in Louisburg, tried few times to get in but never found it open 🙁 Also in Westport house there is a statue and some information. The books on her life are well worth a read.

This crazy driving on the wrong side of the road has got to stop..My great grandparents immigrated to the states from Donegal when automobiles were becoming popular because they realized the imminent danger of driving on the wrong side of the road..

Most places limit height in an attempt to stop travellers moving in. Groups that set up camp for as long as possible and cause problems for locals. 👍

Thank you for your videos, but some of your mispronunciation of Irish names is making me giggle. I love the west coast of Ireland but the weather is tough and the wind is fierce, but when the sun ☀️ comes out, it is very beautiful!
The place names in Ireland are a pronunciation mine field for the amateur film maker. Most of them are written to just give you all a good laugh 😁👍
Some great photography in Mayo, the best of your trip so far, in my opinion. But then I’m biased! Wind and rain a will always be your companions in that part of the world, but it’s on the edge of Europe, practically in the Atlantic, so it’s hardly surprising!

We don’t mind the weather really and as you say its to be expected on the edge of the Atlantic. The only bummer is it shakes the camera lens. I will have to carry a bigger one for use when I am near the van. I can’t abide carrying it on a walk though so I will use the pocket zoom for that.

We had about 3 months of nó Rain in early summer, glorious.

Des Brittain In 2018 there wasn’t a drop of rain for eight weeks. Instead there was a heatwave. The resulting changes in vegetation revealed many previously undetected tombs in County Meath.

This crazy driving on the wrong side of the road has got to stop..My great grandparents immigrated to the states from Donegal when automobiles were becoming popular because they realized the imminent danger of driving on the wrong side of the road..
