I just made 6 using yardage & insulbrite! Didn’t know June Taylor had this. I used batting in my handles vs the webbing & just added additional stitching.
Thank you Courtenay! I had gotten out my 'daily deal' casserole caddy pattern and was trying to figure out the instructions. And then! LIGHTBULB MOMENT! I looked on the website and there it was in living, clear, explanations!
Thanks Courtney for sharing all your little tidbits you came across while making this project. I always like to hear other people's tips on what they learned along the way. Loved the "Do as I say.... not as I DID" 🤣 You did an excellent job explaining the steps. Hope to see you again for another cute project. 💖
I don't take casseroles anywhere, but this looks like a great way to protect my casserole dish in the cupboard. I worry about it getting cracked in there since I suck at putting dishes away, lol.
I'm thinking gift...use as "wrapping" incl a casserole dish...recipes...a few gadgets ie spoons, spatula, whisk, measuring spoons and cups.....oh my....😊
That is super cute and doesn't look like it is that complicated to make. I think if you make one you could then make custom sizes for your other dishes. I do that often, I go through the motions of following the pattern and process the first time then do my own thing and customize after that.
Wonderful, thank you! I was about ready to sit down and start mine. I am making them for the family. We will be filling the casserole dishes with our holiday baking.
Awesome quick project. According to the email that I received from MSQC it sounds like there will be more of these tutorials. I love that idea. Keep them flowing so we have gift ideas for the holidays.
Thank you! I have watched 3 videos on this caddy and no one else mentioned that the first 5" square should be centered "between the two lines". I was at a loss when I saw that the marked spot for the first placement was not 5 inches - it was more like 4 3/4 inches. Even the directions in the pattern said that the marked lines were "placement" lines. Not possible when the 5 inch piece of fabric is bigger than the marked area. Thank you again for clarifying this.
Now, I don’t have any square casseroles with lids. Because the handles come up from the bottom, I’m assuming the top of the food won’t get squished if you use foil (or press n seal) on the dish and wrap this casserole cover around?
It would be a great idea in a gift basket with coordinating apron as well. Thanks! Please do more of these fast and easy gift idea tutorials

i realize I am quite randomly asking but do anyone know of a good place to stream new movies online?
I like the potholder recommendation. A mug rug is another idea for the larger corner scraps.

Great tutorial, thank you!
Will ironing erase the blue lines?
Do you need a separate pattern for each casserole cover?
It appears that you do.
Hi Courtenay. Thank you for the video. I was wondering if there is a video for the Christmas tree quilt behind you?
Never mind. thank You. I found it should have searched first. Now I remember even watching the video.
ua-cam.com/video/Ugy4c3t7VwI/v-deo.html I wondered too. I found it thought I'd reply for others to find it easily. Happy Crafting
I love the Christmas tree quilt behind you are there instructions for this one ?
Found it from the links thankyou
🥰
Don’t iron! It’s not because of shrinkage but distortion. There’s a very high probability of distorting the batting thus distorting lines.
I ironed and it turned out fine. It was easy.
I am getting an error message
Where closed captioning?
You always give sizes so we can do the same thing...it’s frustrating when you see something and can’t make it
Hi de ho.
Would of been nice if she would of showed how to make the whole thing instead of just explaining it.
So much wasted fabric.
