Interesting to know Max is actually teaching photography classes. I'd wondered if maybe she was just a professional photographer on-staff and not actually a teacher.
@@ellenphilpotts-troy2098 She will kidnap people, film them and rewind, so no actual events has happen, but she will keep the photos, what she can focus on this moment then erase it again. Perfect crime :D
Ngl rewind is what made LIS so special it subverted the choice game genre being able to change certain things obvs the other games are good but was really hoping to get that power back
Hello :) Thank you for summarizing everything we know! I probably would’ve added more info about Safi and Moses, but I think you hit the main points well :) Something I refuse to believe is that you can supposedly play Double Exposure without playing Life is Strange. I’m 100% sure that this was only said to not intimidate new players. Because hearing something like “You absolutely need to play Life is Strange, and Before the Storm wouldn’t hurt as well, and you might as well throw Life is Strange 2 into the mix because of the cameo” doesn’t exactly inspire confidence, y’know? Or the wish to play Double Exposure. It’s far better to say “You don’t need to play any other games” so new players aren’t immediately discouraged to try it. Btw, the pre-order bonus was likely a decision by Square Enix and not by Deck Nine. No, this is not actually confirmed, but since Square Enix is the publisher, they likely have more agency when it comes to decisions like this. Which is why I don’t want to blame Deck Nine for this questionable choice because we don’t actually know if they supported it. :) Anyway, thanks for this summary, and until the next video :D
@@Tatjana_L. Hey! Yeah I definitely didn’t cover enough about Moses or Safi, but I didn’t want the video to be *too* long 😅 This is a very real possibility! I think it’s probably possible you can play Double Exposure without playing the previous titles, but by doing that, you’d miss out an awful lot of lore, references & potential important cameos. I think all of the LiS games sort of complement each other? So for the best experience playing Double Exposure, it’s definitely recommended you play the others, but it’s optional - I wish D9 clarified that better when they mentioned it. Wish I considered it was probably a decision Square Enix made with the preorders rather than D9! I guess SE are responsible for a lot of the games marketing etc so that actually makes better sense. Thank you for watching :)
Hey, since your last video, I learned about the panel at PAX West for Double Exposure and the gathering the previous night at the restaurant/bar near Lake Union in Seattle. It's basically the same setup as it was for LiS2 five years ago, other than LiS2 being 80% released by then & the panel being the day after the gathering instead of earlier the same day. Since I'm a Seattle area local (across Lake Washington from it), I'll be going to both events.
@@Sparxxyy The event at Art Marble was a lot of fun! I just got out of there tonight. I didn't win the raffle prizes (polaroid canera and some kind of goodie bag), but I got a photo with a life-size Hawt Dawg Man that I got to put on a wall with other peopl's photos that resembled Max's wall with the lights. I also spoke brieftly with both game director Jonathan Stauder and narrative director Felice Kuan. Of course they can't reveal anything about the story, but I did get confirmation that the game is 5 episodes (not 4).
I laughed when you actually mentioned a lot about their "Marketing". Definitely they had to milk the fanbase with whatever they left with. I'm pretty sure LiS Double Exposure worth it because there's Cat Contents on the Ultimate Edition dlc. They got me tho 😂. 10/10 that convince me enough to buy it XD. A lot of speculation and theory about Double Exposure that I haven't keep up with from their official UA-cam, IG, Tiktok and etc. Also I'd like how you managed to put all of your LiS collections in your background and special LiS one with Hannah's autograph as well. Good job, I like the video is pretty calm and editing is simple but effective.
My prediction with how the devs clearly favour the sacrifice Arcadia bay ending considering it’s the ending in every book and comic as well as the extra effort they put into other games with that ending is that if you sacrifice the bay chloe will be a constant presence in the story calls texts memories and then will physically appear in the ending but if you save the bay all you’ll get is a few texts and comments from Joyce Kate and Warren and if it’s anything like lis2 they’ll probably just all be about how much they miss Chloe
I think the devs aren’t showing a preference for which ending, the fandom definitely does though haha! From the gameplay we’ve been shown so far, the context of certain conversations implies Sacrifice Chloe ending. I do think D9 are just trying to be as vague as possible about Chloe for a reason though :)
Yep. And that's why I think her being able to rewind again will be a major plot point in later parts of the game, either as a one-time thing or as a game mechanic.

Yep. And that's why I think her being able to rewind again will be a major plot point in later parts of the game, either as a one-time thing or as a game mechanic.
