Last story: My guess is the mother never truly loved her daughter because she was an oops baby. As far as she was concerned, she was just dumping some trash.

For those who don't know, a baked Alaska is VERY hard to make. Why? Because it is a cake with ice cream baked in it. If you bake it a bit too long, the ice cream melts. If you bake it too little, the dough doesn't cook. It takes a LOT of talent/skill or a LOT of practice to pull off. I have a friend who asked for one on his birthday from his relative, who was happy to do it. Afterword, whilst they admitted it was worth it, they also said it was really hard and to ask for anything BUT a baked alaska in the future.

    Second story:
Thinking the mom just wanted to dispose of the unwanted daughter after she died, and the reason for the reluctance to give information on where the plot is is that she doesn't actually want her remains near her, and is also possibly jealous of the love OP, his brother and father has for the sister. Which is all kinds of f*cked up. Fid out where the plot is, do what you need to do and yeet that woman you call a 'mother' from your lives.

Wow the largest wedding I've been to was about 50 to 60 people. I thought it was a horrible wedding. There was so many people that we couldn't even truly congratulate the couple. I've always thought weddings as intimate family events. Yeah some close friends, but mostly family. It's about the family growing and becoming stronger. That many people made all events feel rushed and impersonal. Was not a enjoyable occasion, which is exactly what a wedding should be.

🥺 The last story really made me want to hug OP. The mother didn't just pretend that the ashes belonged to her daughter and lied about it, but she gave something precious to her kids and ex-husband as a way to keep what remained of the sister, only for it to be a lie. The mom didn't just lie about some fake ashes, she killed the sister's memory.

When is the right time to tell the aunts that you don't want their little horrors at your wedding? The aunts need to be called out about the behaviour of their little monsters. If the family members consistently stand up to the aunts, maybe they will start to control their children.

  • @lizzykayOT7
    @lizzykayOT7 4 місяці тому +3

The first story was entertaining, OP has a wonderful family and a lovely fiancée/ wifey. The aunts (and their weird husbands) have raised some little monsters and that's sad, hopefully what happened is a wake-up call for them and the change. I feel bad for awful kids because they not only get a ruined childhood, but also everything after.
I don't understand the mother in the last story, like why? What possible motivation is there to do something like this in a time when people are distracted by grief and loss? Was there no cremation? I've never heard of ashes being spread in a cemetery, housed in mausoleum maybe.

"Now my aunts are refusing to attend the wedding until I apologize to them and their kids and invite them", hell that's a win, should have been answered with "I don't want you there anyway". If any of the brats ask, stop cuddling them and tell them they aren't wanted because they are bad. Think about this The grass that grows on that plot The earth that the plot will always have has your sister she's not dumped at an ocean that you cannot ever touch she's not dumped in some stupid yard like my sister did to my folks. A place where someone else will own it eventually probably cut down that tree etc. A place that I can never visit because well I think you can tell she's not a very nice person. You will gather some of that ground put it in something a little cylinder etc and keep it If you want to but remember the true essence of your sister is with you The memories you have and hold like I with my parents my sister doesn't have She was born 4 years after me but I was closer to my mother I learned how to cook from her she did not I learned all of her skills she did not She didn't care about our mother or father She knows no family stories no history nothing I'm the one who saved her life when she had medical problems because I knew the family history I listened I care she did not Now she's cut me off because there was no money to inherit She didn't need to stay in touch with me when she found out that Father had written her out of the will He left everything to his new wife and the family that gave him a wonderful life 20 years without guilt. I had told my father I didn't need any of his money I'm self-made and I didn't want any of it. I didn't want her harassing me for the rest of my life for taking me to court saying she was his only child Yes she was My brother and I were adopted. She doesn't understand American law that if you adopt someone you cannot disown them but she and her mother because she was there only living blood child positively wouldn't give it up that she should be the only one to inherit. But I have the most important things I knew my father loved me I knew he cared and had wanted me I wasn't a mistake I wasn't an accident and he protected me as best he could and I never asked him for more than he could give. I will take these memories with me and I'm also putting together a CD of all the pictures I could find and all the memories that I have been told the stories etc for the rest of the family Will she get a copy Oh yes She deserves one but will I give her anything that I inherited from the family over my lifetime No that goes to other members of the family She thinks she's getting things back even from her maternal grandmother that I got no they're going to other family members that she doesn't know about They deserve them more than she does.

Just a little feedback for the channel creator: In the thumbnails, "Demand To Invite" is not grammatically correct in this context.
    Original Title:
"Homophobic Aunts Demand to Invite Their Spoiled Kids to OP's Child-Free Wedding..."
    Corrected Title:
"Homophobic Aunts Demand their Spoiled Kids be invited to OP's Child-Free Wedding..."
    or
"Homophobic Aunts Demand OP Invite their Spoiled Kids to a Child-Free Wedding..."
Sorry if that's pedantic. The original text is still easily understood, but there are many sentences where such structure would become needlessly confusing. You can use a plug-in like Grammarly, or use ChatGPT or in Microsoft Edge, use the AI in the sidebar to correct the grammar and even shorten the sentence.
It's not a big deal, I just have to read 50+ emails a day from subcontractors in India who make this exact mistake 4-5 times in every email. Their messages often become incomprehensible when those sentences are strung together. So thing like that do tend to jump out at me.
