I love how Ingrid is like "RUN" while everyone else is smiling (obviously barring Felix).
Felix is silently offering his condolences, while also thanking the goddess he showed up.
I turned Ingrid into a dancer 'cause she was great with swords and had the highest charm in the class, alongside Byleth and Dimitri. Turned into my best unit, including maxing out her charm, so she was basically immune to gambits. Her strength tapered off a bit, but it ended up not mattering, since she crit so often and dodged everything. Was a lot of fun to watch, since in-universe she likely hated every second of it.

Okay but for a second I thought that characters, like Annette and Ignatz, were voiced by their actual VAs. Everyone did a fantastic job in this dub!

I feel like Ingrid and Ignatz sound a bit more closer to their original VAs, This Annette, while also pretty close, lacked her energy and spunk, and Felix was a bit deeper than Lucien Dodge’s Felix, but it does capture his tone and attitude.
Let Sylvain be happy he just wants to see Ingrid and Felix in nice Dancer costumes
You can't stop him for trying even if later those two may or may not kill him.
Dimitri and dedue as a dancer is such a wonderful concept that my eyes are still blessed to this day lol

This is a real issue though. It can be kind of hard to choose a dancer when you've already planned everything else out. Dancer Ignatz might be worth looking into though. (although I am a strong proponent of Dancer Flayn, to give her actual relevance in your party)
Flayn gets fortify though that automatically makes her relevant
Dark filer Flyan is pretty great.

Ignatz (or at least what my experience with him tells me) is lowkey one of the worst units in the game. He always struggles to kill anything and he doesn’t really excel at anything except never missing, but then again everyone can potentially never miss if they master archer so... Yeah.
@@FabschOblivion669 My Assassin Ignatz was doing pretty well in my Verdant Wind runthrough, but that file accidentally got saved over, so I don't know whether he'd have fallen off post timeskip
Felix have been carrying me through every playthrough, so i made him my dacer for 2 reasons.
1. It sorces me to change my playstyle and gives me a new challenge
2. To spite him
In my opinion, you have your priorities around the wrong way

Not going to lie, Ignatz is one of my characters that I train in everything. One route an Assassin, next a mage, next Wyvern (I'm currently doing Wyvern right now). I never did dancer, though...
At least not yet...
He's my Golden Deer assassin. I honestly didn't know it was a good idea, but it somehow was a good fit.
@@WriterKing92 Assassin was my first choice (Golden Deer was my first route). Ignatz was amazing. He always the low crits, purely unexpected, but helpful regardless.
@@kaeyaluckaealberich1612 Petra is a fucking beast as an assassin. As for my case, closest thing I've done is Monk ---> Mercenary ----> Mage ----> Dancer Dorothea, just after facing Kronya.
@@rararasputin8608 I've seen assassin Petra, just never tried it. She was always a flying unit for me - able to go on her own while the rest of the units work their way (except for me, I always give Byleth the boots since Byleth is the literal all-in-one type of character and be a last resort, just in case).
I should try assassin Petra.
So far, my only flying unit is Bernadetta, and I'm seeing what to do with Flayn after maxing her out as a Priest, eh probably Mage or something to boost the skills for now.

This might just be the hardest choice during the blue lions
Dorothea recruit, she even gets the Paralogue with Ingrid, she basically beginning to go over to husbando house, and she's the only person to marry Sylvain outside of Byleth
Marianne, she's considered one of the best Dancer candidates (is good with Swords and is a healer, but not Mercedes or even Lindhart-level) and she also has support with Dimitri.
@@mawile3037 I did recruit Dorothea, but because she was my representative last game and I wanted someone from the Original house, I chose Mercedes. Pretty easy choice.
I just took Felix. I don't really need to give someone else a second turn when he just avoids every attack.

The struggle is real I had the entire roster of who you could recruit for Blue Lions and it took me hours to decide before I finally choose Flayn (Byleth's smile sold me)

I honestly loved raising his Reason skill. It honestly feels like the most real teaching thing this whole game. He asks you what good it is for him, you say it is, then you train relentlessly to turn his weakness into a strength.

I used Felix as a dancer in my first BL playthrough and my only complaint is that he was left with horrible Res but other than that he was great.
For blue lions, maybe someone that has enough charm but also a decent balance in magic(reason mostly) and sword. Dorothia would be a good example, so try to either recruit her or have Felix become a dancer since he's a recommendation.
All I'm saying is that Sylvain was the best dancer I've had besides Dorothea. Not to mention that he looks pretty freaking sexy!
@@bep5457 Well we can't really argue against that, Sylvain's sexiness is a kind of a proven scientific fact.
Out of the blue Lion team, make Sylvain do it... he looks sexy in his dancer costume and has decent magic skills! That will also show him to not tease Ingrid so much! Personally i think Lorenz makes a great dancer, 3 playthroughs in i never felt the need to not promote him to that very important class.

Nice, he must look gorgeous too in a dancer costume! I'm just sad we cannot invite the DLC characters to the tower, I'm sure a meeting with the very flirtatious Yuri would have been worth it (and with Balthus too, he probably would tell old tales of when he met some girl there in his own junior year)
Yuri is awesome as a dancer. His relic gives him additional movement as well as canto, the ability to spend his leftover movement after his action, which solves one of the issues of the dancer class. Due to his speed and +20 sword avoid dancer bonus, I also managed to make him into 100+ avoid dodge tank. I could hardly beg for more.

As a fan of Fates, I always go with Dorothea. Combining the dance skill and her songstress ability is fun.

Oh my lord I actually did this. I recruited Ignatz on accident, then I sent him in the White Heron Cup. He kinda sat on the bench after that in favor of Ashe, but we still appreciate him💚

Seeing Comic Dubs like this, and currently playing though Three Hopes, really makes me wish Byleth talked in Three Houses. I get why they made them a silent protagonist, but I think if they actually talked it would've sold a stronger connection between Byleth and the students.

Just put Dimitri in the White Heron Cup. Kinda only did it for the memes and to give him the free charm boost, but its still too much fun. The Sword Dance combat art is a nice bonus too.

I recruited Dorothea mainly to make her my dancer lol
I was considering Flayn, but she was already at a lower level and I have a few people recruited that I prefer anyway (my recruits are Dorothea, Lysithea, Lorenz [for his relic that I gave to Lys], and Linhardt) but my overall goal is to use all the lions and make them super good bc I've grown too attached to them lol
The answer: Steal Dorothea.

Dorothea's not bad if you're doing a Crimson Rose run. She's a fairly poor character in general, but she does have access to Meteor. If you equip Meteor and have her do nothing but dance and maybe heal, then her support perks will be enabled almost everywhere on the battlefield. Funnily enough, I didn't take advantage of this in my own Crimson Rose run. For some reason Dorothea was gaining magic points even faster than Lysithea to the point where she was almost a nuke. So I switched off to letting Marianne take the role.

I just went with Annette, considering she had a good loadout of rally skills, once she mastered dancer, I just used that as a form of rally...... and she was able to slaughter with ease still, so she can handle herself =u=

i picked no one as dancer in golden deer and every one where very strong
When I played through the Black Eagles route I made Dorothea my dancer and now that I’m one the Blue Lions path I made Flayn the dancer. I was pretty satisfied with Dorothea but maybe I made a mistake in choosing Flayn for that part. Who am I going to choose for the Golden Deer path I wonder?
Normally I make Hapi or Flayn the Dancer. Hapi because she learns Warp and can become a reliable tool for a rush or capable of catching up to units if I keep her back from a stressful situation. Flayn on the other hand is good for support with the massive selection of healing spells plus having rescue can make her a good anchor unit since she won't be moving into harms way to begin with.
Overall there are alot of good selections for Dancers, just depends on what kind of Dancer you want. Felix would be good for a classic dancer playstyle with high speed and crit.
Again though it depends on what the player is looking for from their Dancer.

Out of the Blue Lions, I feel that Mercedes makes the best dance due to her talent with Faith and high magic. Then Black Eagles is Dorothea, and Golden Deer and best Dancer being Marianne.
I seen this comic once before but when byleth responds to ignatz, "Victory is Near" played and it's killing me now that I can't find it

i usually pick ingrid. both str and magic growth is passable alongside defence and res growth. she wont hit super hard with either but it wont be like a wet noodle either.
Tbh I usually just make my white mage my dancer. Except with the black eagles, Dorothea is the closest thing to a canon dancer we get
