    I’m tired of the media talking about this, he lost the locker room, his rotations were bad, he didn’t know how to manage timeouts, and he didn’t know how to adjust game to game, you’re playing Gabe and Spencer at the same time when they both can’t give you anything on offense, in the middle of the season he benches Dlo and Reaves to start Reddish and Vando who have no offensive output, I don’t wanna hear it, he wasn’t the guy!

      Exactly. I watched every game they played this year in full... and he was terrible. It took him literally half the season before he knew his best starting 5. He wouldn't use timeouts to stop opponents going on runs. Half the time the Lakers weren't even running plays. He deserved it, and the comments here prove it. Nobody thinks he's a great coach...

    I think Darvin Ham is better suited as an assistant HC, I do think there were stretches where he seemed lost as a HC. Rotations, not calling a timeout and controlling the flow of the game, etc. Do I think he deserved to be fired? No, the Lakers roster is a mess, so what's another HC going to do? One more year, and then blow it up.

    The lakers have done a lot of things wrong since 2019, they were loving the young folks like ingram, ball and hart, they traded them for a second star. 2021 they traded half their team who helped them win the title in 2020 for other players. 2022 they traded those players for a super team who missed the playoffs. They should have kept KCP, Rondo, Howard and Mcgee

    It has to be seamless from GM to coach to players. GM has to give the coach players that fit his system strengths, and the coach has to give players a system that fits their strengths and the players have to perform to their strengths. We always think about how well the players and coach mix....but we rarely think about how well the GM and coach mix. There's things that should go on between them that we don't even think about enough to ever criticize.

    Now these media members are actually pissing me off. Darvin Ham was not a championship coach, they got those accomplishments in spite of him, they should not have been a 7&8 seed. Their personnel was lacking and we all agree that was a major part but you playing Schroeder, AR, Lonnie, DLO together against Denver, you win the IST then decide let me start Cam Reddish and Taurean Prince and go from top 4 in the west to 2-10 fighting for an 8 seed. You lead all games against Denver and bled every lead without making adjustments or calling timely timeouts. I could type a thesis on his malpractice FOH

    What is Unc talking about. Darvin wasn’t the coach when we traded for Westbrook. Vogel was and that’s part of the reason why he got fired. He couldn’t make it work with dude and lost the locker room in the process.

It’s mentioned to them but the GM always has the final say, if they chose to make a bad decision that also falls on the Gm. Also the lonzo ball statement he made he tried to blame them getting lonzo ball as a Lebron/Ad decision when they weren’t even on the team at the time. Infact, the lakers traded lonzo for AD which in hindsight was a great decision, given lonzo has been unplayable for 3 years now.

    Darvin Ham sucks. Even though he is respectable at coaching in the playoffs, he is horrible at coaching in the regular season. My Lakers can't afford to be in the 7th or 8th seed every season. Bron deserves a more competent coach than Ham.

    Darvin Ham was clueless as a head coach. He never called time outs nor called plays. The team was never prepared. And his rotations and offensive/defensive schemes were dreadful. Ham deserved to be fired.

    Stopped watching this clip the moment Stephen A said Darvin Ham shouldn’t have been fired. The only real mistake the Lakers made was hiring him in the first place. His firing was long overdue and a welcome move to anyone who actually understands basketball. Darvin Ham is simply not ready for a head coaching job.

    LeBron might as well be player/coach he doesn't listen to coaches anyway he never wanted to play in a real offense with player/ ball movement he just wants to dominate the ball so he can get his stats.
