great video and guitar history lesson of chris holmes. there is a 76 les paul of mine i played on the road id love to have back also. tobacco sunburst front and back and neck. dimarzio in the bridge position. i guess we all have guitars that have gone to others. thanks dave, i love all your videos. id love to come visit your shop when i visit my son in goodyear. keep on keeping on. That is NOT the Back to the future font on the back of the neck . Back to the future didnt come out until a year after this guitar was made. Back to the future came out in 1985. That is the ' Raiders Of The Lost Ark ' font.

If I had that Katara get it all good looking anything that's rusted outdated or corroded at fix it all to make everything look nice and shiny and clean that is a really cool guitar and a part of history from wasp that would be great my collection guy's a lucky guy to have that in his collection

What a one-of-a-kind sekitar just needs to get some brand new strings on it and get rid of The Rusted bolts that I see or in screws clean it all up get it all polish and shiny that it would be really cool that's a sick really cool guitar
With vintage and especially artist owned guitars, it's always best to leave them in their original condition.

It's a different body and not the same.

I believe it was $600 in 1987. I had been to that same pawn shop in the 2000's when I lived in L.A. :)

Why would these guys give it back to Chris. It’s a collectors item and it’s not as if he stole it.
In the last video we did for Chris' 1983 Blood Star, it was full of comments demanding to send it back to Chris for free... so I figured more like that would be on the way.
