Hello Chris this was a good review you did of the Tundra kayak. I would like to pick this kayak up for my granddaughter. She's only 6 years old and I know this is a big kayak for her but for security reasons I figured she would be more safe in a sit inside kayak until she gets big enough to be on a sit-on-top kayak. She loves being on the water and kayaking so I could just put her in this kayak and pull her. I'm also thinking about purchasing 1 for a guess. I do have a question? Do you know how comfortable the footrest are in this kayak & are they comfortable to kayak barefooted 👣 styles. I am a chubby fat dude with very very big extremely wide feet sz15 6E wide with very chubby fat wide toes that are equally straight across making my foot very very wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe & i have to kayak Barefooted 👣 styles because my foot out grow shoes , socks , boots when i was 18 years old. Flip flops is the only footwear that will barely and i mean barely fit my foot because of my toes being wider than the flip flops straps. I like your flip flops man. Me & my family ( wife , 6th boys , & granddaughter ) are huge fans of flip-flops. That's all we wear year round. Will i have to since there's no shoe or sock that's wide enough to fit my foot. My 6 Boy's love to wear there flip flops because they all have very wide feet & shoes and socks are crushing and hurting their toes especially why in school so they just wear flip flops daily to school especially my third son John who's foot is exactly the same as mine with big toe that are equally straight across making his foot very very wide at 4 1/2 to 5" inches wide from his big toe to his lil toe & he's only 12 years old with a size13 4E which a size 13 is now too small for his foot so I need to go out this week and find a size 14 flip-flop for him.
