Hey everybody. I failed to mention the seat difference. I thought I had seen them both with either seat over the years. But upon further investigation I think what you see is what you get in the pictures. The Charger has the lower more basic seat and the Cruze has the Lifetime taller plastic seat. I will say I prefer the Cruze seat back however both get the job done. Thanks...- Ben
I have the red 10 ft Cruze and I absolutely LOVE IT! I don't like the Open Storage on the other models because the scupper-holes tend to get stuff wet. I did add fishing pole holders to my Red Kayak as well as an anchor system

Is the rear storage compartment walled off from the rest of the kayak?

I'm trying to decide between the two, and what I've noticed is that the charger has a different folding seat back, and I'm worried it is not as comfortable as the cruze seat, which I have tested
I have noticed that seat difference here and there. Go with what works for you. The seat is the most important part.

I have tried searching Cruze vs lifetime Lancer... do you know what is the difference is bettween these two kayaks?
They are pretty comparable. Roughly the same size, weight. The Lancer is the rebadged Lifetime Guster from Emotion Kayaks. Lifetime bought them out a few years ago. The Cruze has a larger cockpit opening. And is a little roomier than the Cruze. Their storage is pretty much the same. i actually have a bright green Lifetime Guster in my personal collection. I love it! You can't go wrong with either of them.
I've the same 10 foot kayak. The cover is only a splash guard. There's no bulkhead, at least not on the newest models, and water can freely flow from the cockpit to the storage area. My experience is that it's very manoeuvrable, not the fastest, and doesn't always track well. This thing will literally crab through the water. That said, it's a lot of fun, and the Tractor Supply price was considerably less than what Walmart sells them for. One more note, don't buy the grooved/ridged paddles. They put in two flutes in the paddle running the length of the paddle. They are used to make a cheep paddle more ridged. The issue with the flutes is that they catch water, and drain it down into the cockpit. Not a lot, but enough to be annoying and get my clothing wet.
The Cruze weighs 46lbs.
