So I’m confident in my skill enough, don’t really care much about rank. People resort to really petty fighting styles in ranked just for the sake of winning which just annoys me and makes the fight boring, I don’t even care if I win or lose those fights it just wasn’t enjoyable. So I usually stick to quick matches.

@@Shinobi_Aki_. I guess it proves the saying “If you don’t know your plan, the enemy sure as hell doesn’t”. It’s hard to counter cheap tactics that are thrown in complete randomness. At that point you have to defend amidst complete randomness and eventually you are going to get it wrong. People who play like this often pick characters with hugely oppressive offences with lot’s of plus frames, like Leroy and Nina, or characters that huge strings with lot’s of variations like Jun or Reina. Now you got Lidia too with her B1 spam that can’t be countered as long as Lidia follows up with a jab, and if you start ducking then she can just throw another B1 and go into her insanely oppressive heat. B1 also has a ton of chip damage so she can just loop this B1 offence that basically becomes a 50/50 every time she uses B1, will she Jab high, or B1 mid heat engager, and the punishment for getting hit by the mid incredibly high. So you are incentivised to just keep blocking mid until she chips you to death. You also got characters like Yoshi that are the god of everything pretty much with almost no weaknesses. Honestly when you look at Yoshi’s stats on paper, he is stupidly overpowered. Better healing then Jun, damage that exceeds Jin’s with half the execution, best unblockables in the game, keep out on par with Lee, range comparable to Victor (Just without the gun), amazing highs, mids and lows, deceiving and tricky lows like Kuma and Alisa, one the best and least risky stances in the game that mitigates damage since he is counted as airborne, best tracking moves in the game, fastest counter hit move in the game that launches, can be used as a combo filler and heals, evasion and parries on par if not better then Raven…. It’s actually insane how much Yoshi has now, it’s no wonder he is blowing up at tournaments.
@@dylaroo24Just play Ranked like it’s Quick and rank up without even noticing. I should be using Quick to try new tactics and setups, but I just launch Ranked. Demotions will only be temporary.
The back and forth in this video is INSANELY fun to watch. The intro where Jin tells Lidia that she’s no pushover and her telling Jin the same thing about him is super lore accurate for this video in particular. Awesome stuff.

“Low rank”… I honestly hate how the tekken community has such a negative outlook on ranks. If you’re in purple ranks you’re basically in the top 10% of tekken players worldwide. That does not mean “low rank”.
@@Nausicaa-oj1gf i wonder where you find that statistic. I just looked at tekken reddit stat analisis and there was like 20% at its maximum. If i would count manualy, it probably be closer to 15
@@thephenominalone2588 I play kazuya , Jin , Paul , dragunov and Bryan I’ve played her with each of my characters and not once have I lost it’s just too easy because she had to change stances so much . As soon as I see she’s going into a stance I just do a launcher for a full combo lol
I have two issues, I don’t think battle ruler is low rank. It’s closer to middle. Also look at their prowess. They are clearly much more advanced and have a main which is much higher rank
