I worked at a restaurant bar in the town where Boris’s daughter went to uni. He came in for her graduation dinner and I’ve never seen a more broken man. He was just dead behind the eyes.

@@Luke-bv6jq Sympathy and empathy aren't the same thing. Everyone deserves empathy because everyone is human. It's easy to be kind to people you like, being kind to those you don't is the real test of character. You don't have to like him, you don't have to support his government or their policies, indeed you can do your best to try and get his government out of power but don't be nasty because that helps no one. Or, at the very least, do your best not to piss on someone else when they are showing empathy because it makes the country (and the world) an unkinder, more miserable place.

The structure of Pointless is this: they do these surveys, asking 100 random people various questions (like the "name as many countries as you can that end with two consonants" one), and then they ask the contestants the same question. The contestants only have to give one answer, but they're looking for a rare one. The fewer of the survey respondents who gave that answer the better.
It's a great quiz, but a poor show as it is painfully slow. If you cut out all the padding it might be a fun one to try. And it has good play along potential.
