Thank you sir! I prefer climbing (for the fun of it) but like you said, some trees just aren’t tenable without a lift. We do about 50/50 climb vs. lift jobs so it’s a good mix
My answer to the thumbnail is NO, climbers will always be relevant. Open discussion with some local guys I know, thought it would be interesting to get a wider audiences perspective. The majority of the companies that own these machines were built by successful climbers to begin with

I use a lift for complex deciduous trees. Makes solo work so much more viable. I love to climb spars....single stem softwood. Great job.
