I really like the canned music you used in the first several videos. Nice and mello, fitting for your journey. Keep up the good work. It's a blast to watch you guys.

the rocks around the grape vines absorb heat in the day and release it at night keeping the vines more temperate.

Your heals need to be locked in. They are slipping. It’s a game changer! I am really enjoying watching you two from CA. We are headed out for the Frances in Sept/Oct. It will be our 6th Camino. We will be 71. I’m trying to send you pictures of how to tie your shoes!

Any tips on how to lock in would be great

I’ll try. The 2 holes at the top of your shoe you make a loop using the shoestring. Your right string goes into the left loop. The left into the right loop. Tie as normal. Your heal will stay in place going uphill and downhill. Make sure the laces are not too tight on the rest of the shoe. Prevents blisters and nail loss too!

Love Brooks for running but the trail runners don’t hold up! I am doing the Camino in Topos…Hope as I watch I see you guys got new show in upcoming episodes! Bummer that they just aren’t made for the long haul…

I walked the Camino in 2022 with Brooks and had to ditch them. Got Altras in Leon (I waited too long), but Burgos has some good shops too. I hope you guys can find something that works. I eventually ended up with Hoka Speedgoats and that is all I use now, they hold up during long distances!

that happened to me with my Altra Olympus 5 BUT only in the last week. I used duck tape to patch it up and it held up fine. In Santo Domingo De La Calzada (which should be coming up after Najera ) is a FANTASTIC Sports Store on Calle Mayor by the Tourism office just before you get to the cathedral ... I'm pretty sure the camino takes you right by it.
