Can we just take a moment to appreciate how amazing Russell is for not only uploading these full episodes - but he even does this while they are brand new!!! Thank you Russell, you are the best!!! Can't wait to see you live in Denmark in March!!! :)
this video can not be seen from the UK and comments are off
@@KennyjHolland Yeah, I would guess, as others have pointed out on all the other episodes, that it is beacuse it is being shown on tv! Get a VPN and change your location :)
I’m a Dane currently on exchange in Canada. Super sad I couldn’t see him, but now he’s going here too, so I’ll see him in May!
@@xXxJinxed1xXx i did i had to use a vpn just to comment
Wish I could attend that! Tickets are already sold out, so gotta wait for next year.
I live in Wuhan, have been for 3 years, I just want to say all the stuff that was being sold in that market was illegal, not all Chinese people eat that stuff, in fact everyone is disgusted by it. Secondly, the motivational messages being played are more about taking precautions that motivation, they are saying 'Stay in doors, don't go outside, don't travel unnecessarily' these kinds of things. It's a terrible situation but I just wanted to clear that up.
Love the show though Russell, hopefully you see this
They just started those announcements here in Changsha. It was a bit worrying, cos I don't speak Chinese very well. Of course, we aren't having quite so bad a time of it here...yet. I also believe that bat soup video was filmed in Palau, not China at all...
~So you decided to stay in Wuhan rather than be repatriated. WIth the UK government advising that we leave, I would be interested in knowing why you made the decision to stick around.
Yeah the video of the travel blogger eating the bat was from Palau, not Wuhan. Decided to stay for a number of reasons, first of all I'm Irish and as far as I'm aware the Irish government haven't chartered a flight home as of yet. Also, my girlfriend is Chinese and she is unable to leave. Thirdly, I left Wuhan and am currently in the mountains in another city with my girlfriends family, the roads out of here are blocked so we can't leave. All is well, just need to wait it out
@@TheRadiatorGator Thanks for responding. I hope the mountains are safe! I confess, I am strongly minded to leave changsha, but I recently had back surgery and a very long flight is not advisable. I fear that when my back is good to travel, there'll be no travel to do! Good luck.
Yeah but wet markets are still allowed to sell with illegal meats
@@YashTrivedispaceport6492 Allowed to sell illegal meats.... this is a contradiction in terms.
Apart from dog meat, which is common in some provinces (GuangXi adn GuangDong, for instance) and is eaten by the minority everywhere, and snake, which is hardly an exclusive food of China, by a long way, the eating of what you refer to as "illegal meats" is vanishingly small. The market in Wuhan was accused of selling koala meat. How the h**l do you think they found koala meat in China?
Eating bush meat is a minority feature of every country, not just China, and it is a very rare thing in China. However the size of the population will make the numbers seem higher than in other countries. And as has been said elsewhere in the comments, people, especially young people, are horrified, or, at least very embarrassed by the practice.
There were many times when Russell could have made a cheap joke when doing that 'testicle' interview, but he took the high road and kept it serious. Much respect to you, brother. ♥️
Yeah 👍
Russell Howard is the only comedy "news" show that I can watch repeats of repeatedly and still laugh my head off every time. Most shows in the same genre are barely worth one repeat - most aren't - and none are in the same league.
@@rumduol I watch both of them and they are great shows, I just find Russell Howard's to be the only one (for me) that still stands up after repeated viewings (I mean watching repeats more than once).
Agree!
Try hassan minhaj patriot act too
@@quitebad459 Yes. Actually, I just shared a video of his to my Facebook friends. The one about worldwide obesity. I just hope my friends don't think I'm anti-American!
Yes ~ Russell stays fresh. So much timely content laced with his very bright and original humor, always balanced w/ warmth and heart. These are rare(ish) traits in stand-up comedy in both UK and US.
Russell and Stephen Colbert
are our 'through line' for these heart-breakingly strange times. We can just about bear the daily news when served up to us in this lovely way.
As Seth Meyers wishes us nightly; Stay safe, wash your hands, we love you.
And Russell ~ Our profound thanks to you.
The lady having some whiskey while stuck in Wuhan is an old teacher of mine. I was so shocked to see her on this show of all places. The world's a small place, it's crazy!
My granddad suffered in daily agony for nearly a decade with an extremely slow-growing form of prostate cancer. He was a Scouse former paratrooper and an immensely kind, loving, caring man, who was also incredibly stubborn and bad at looking after himself. When my nana, seeing the pain he was in, finally convinced him to see a doctor and it all came out that he'd been suffering with it for so many years, they asked him why he hadn't said anything for so long. He said it was a combination of fear and not wanting to trouble anyone, especially my nana.
She'd had a major heart attack in her early 60s and after that, my granddad insisted on doing everything for her, even cooking and most of the housework, and he always looked after her wellbeing. It's so sad that he didn't afford himself the same care.
The cancer was so slow-growing that it never would've killed him, but it was clearly having a serious impact on his quality of life. After he'd had it removed, it was like he was suddenly 10yrs younger, lol. The last 6yrs of his life were especially good ones and he often said he wished he'd gone to the doctor when he'd first developed symptoms.
My point is, even when it is cancer, all cancers are different and while it may require chemo and radiation, it may also be like my granddad's and only require surgery and ongoing monitoring.
Please, please see a doctor if you're concerned about anything that's going on with your body, even if you think it sounds silly or may well be nothing to worry about. Any good doctor will tell you they'd ALWAYS rather you ask and it turn out to be nothing than just keeping it quiet until it risks becoming a much bigger problem. If something is bothering or worrying you, then it matters.
Chronically Fabulous this reminds me of my parents. My dad also had a slow growing form of prostate cancer. He pushed back having the surgery as long as he possibly could. My dad has had surgery for skin and prostate cancer and for 2 hernias. He was walking around to busy taking care of my mom who had a major stroke to take care of himself. They didn’t even know about the second hernia till he was under for the surgery. And after the hernia/prostate surgery he refused to be in bed and recover. (It was supposed to be 4 weeks of bedrest). Was too busy taking care of my mom. Sometimes I worry he’s going to work himself into the grave taking care of her, never knowing when to say no or put himself and his health first. He is the most amazing man I’ve ever known. I’m grateful every day to have him as a father and a role model. I honestly don’t know how to live without him.
I am disabled too, with chronic pain and health issues, and he’s always there when I need help. He’s amazing. The point is that if you aren’t taking care of yourself you can’t take care of others.
Thank you for your post. Your grandfather sounds like a really special man.
As an american who stumbled across this program on youtube by accident somehow I gotta say this show is brilliant.
Canadian here and same.

Being in the states I couldn't be more thankful that you always upload your show!!!! You're truly the best. Thanks for all the laughs!!!!!!
The interview with Michael Patrick really hits all the feels for me.
In 2016, at the age of 30, I've experienced a very similar story, but I ended up having testicular cancer. I get why the doctors were a bit nervous and rushing him to consultations & surgery.
Mine was discovered on Wednesday, surgery on Friday.
Because I waited half a year before going to the doctor, I ended up needing both Radiaton ànd Chemo to get that sh*t completely out.
Please guys, if something feels off: go to the doctor.
I hope you’re still doing well, Kevin. Please don’t ever wait again to get something checked out.

I live in CA and we have an overwhelming homeless population that grows everyday. This would be a wonderful program to implement.
Same here in CO. I agree with you
When Russel said “it looks Batman’s wet dream” i lost it😂😂
Love, Love, Love the whole double-decker bus shelter idea. Helping the homeless to get skills and confidence, and providing a safe place to live in the process, go a long way towards helping them to get back on their feet. Congratulations, and I hope that you get many more buses donated, along with the necessary materials/supplies to convert them.

Good on the lads with Busses for the Homeless. Amazing story. There are nice, good people in the world.
The Good Deeds segments always get me. I love that Russell tries to put some real positivity in every episode.
Oh my
Russell Howard does a lot to bring everyday people who do good deeds into the limelight, and to raise awareness. Good on him !
The story Michael Patrick tells here is a very important one. So many young men are too scared or embarrassed to go to the doctor when they have a problem with their genitals. We women are thought from an early age about cervical and breast cancer and women in developed countries go to a gynecologist pretty regularly and do check ups. And a lot of men don't, until there is a problem. Particularly young men. And this is a problem. Testicular cancer is not that rare, and it mostly happens in young men. It's embarrassing, it's private, but it's also deadly. Education people. The more we talk about it, the less of a taboo it is. Educating young men on the topic is very important. Good job Michael Patrick. You may not have intended it at first, but you are giving young men today a powerful message.
Not one of my teachers were Spanish.. good to know I was right to despise them.
There is no hope for me, I'm not Spanish.
😅
i have 3 uni assignments due back to back tonight. i'm watching this instead. shiit. too good.
The testie interview didn't encourage me to go to the doctors for a check-up. But it DID inspire me to find my own comic way to tell others about my own different testie experience. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!😁😊
Thank you Russell i really appreciate your team for putting these episodes on UA-cam thank you bro Love from Somalia

The homeless project is amazing! ..
Russell is so funny and adorable I want to shrink him to pocket size and put him in my bag x) pett him on the head like a small animal 😂
My son had the hydro repair surgery at 4 months old. He was born with two huge testicals which were actually large in womb (might be a good idea for more people to know that it shows up before the baby is born, so it's a good way to get prepared). The problem was, his doctor at my son's 6 week check up, circumcised him without my consent and since he was swollen from fluid, the circumcision was all wrong and he is still not right at age 20. But otherwise, it was a simple surgery and he never had an issue with that part again.
I had a Hydrocele for years, coincidentally my left as well swelled up like a grapefruit. They drained it with a syringe which was a very strange experience and then I had surgery. Woke up looking at the nurses smiley face pen thinking I was on pills at a rave and was trying to offer her xtacy.
Love this guy.
Watching this in 2021 makes me laugh now.
