I once overheard an elderly couple on the bus struggling with directions for two minutes before I squeezed past around 6 people to help them; turns out the gentleman was a former Marine scientist at Friday harbor labs, which is basically what I'm studying for. We ended up chatting for an hour and it's one of the most rewarding conversations I've ever had

She was on a Good News stand-up bit in series 7, I think, and she killed it. She had this guitar and a nice voice and was hilarious. So I go watching RH Hour and I see her and in like "OMG its her I love her yeah she's really funny go girl!"

I used to have an elderly couple in their 90's live above me and at least once a week I would go upstairs and have a G and T with them. They just had the best stories, life experiences I couldn't even come close to experiencing

5:30 - Despite the subject matter, anyone else pause here...? LOL, it's okay. Be honest. Nothing at all wrong with admiring Russell's physical attributes as well as his comedic ones. In fact, it's better when he flashes a bit of skin or muscle by accident because we **all** know he never does it on purpose. It's like a little precious, unexpected gift for all of us because it happens so rarely. Kind of like when you're doing laundry and find a twenty dollar bill tucked away in a pocket somewhere.

RUSS!!!! There's a place in the US that hold pre-school at old folks homes!!!! AND there's a place in other Europe somewhere that allows university students to live at the old folks homes for free if they help with meals and take the elders out!!

I know how you feel, Russell. **All** of my grandparents were gone by the time I was in fifth grade, and I only ever met my two grandmothers, one of I which I was only blessed to know for one year. My grandads were both passed before I was born. You and I are from the same generation, Russell, and I am glad for you that you had your gran and grandad as long as you did. But like you, I appreciated the grandparents I had for all the time I knew them.

I was having a bad day, was up all night studying for a teat that ended up not happening and I went to Wendy's. I was about to order some nuggets, fries and a drink when an old lady came up to me with a coke in hand and said "I ordered a combo but I don't feel like coke, would you like it?" And it made my day. Just for fun I decided having a conversation and it lasted almost an hour probably best person I've met all year.

I would not boo or dismiss a person for being an atheist. My only issue with him on religion is how he puts it down and mocks it. People have pain and suffering and some find solace in their faith. Not all people that believe in a faith want to harm or hurt others. Spreading the belief that all religions are hateful and just want to harm others is just as harmful as those that go out and do stupid that undermines what religions are about.
