@Kristopher Charles thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
here's the trick I did: Play with data and wifi off so you don't get ads, and before losing your last ball, close and reload the app so you don't lose a life. Too bad the level design is still bad
Everytime I've downloaded Peggle blast I've gotten some glitch where everything is unlocked and all the bonuses were 100%. Made the game slightly less frustrating
My biggest problem with peggle blast from a "have not played it but seen people play it on youtube" perspective is that when you hit the last orange peg, there's no fanfare. It just zooms in and does the drumroll, then nothing. No ode to joy, no custom classical music for each character just "dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun... music note"
"Peggle is proven to improve your mood..." Damn, really? I think I've seen similar research done to PvZ! Man, Popcap used to be cool. What ever happened to them? Well, we all know the answer's EA, but...
@@yusahsener1494 popcap is the one at fault. they make the game and add microtransactions. ea publishes the game. they do that for as long as they can until popcap goes bankrupt
If you go to a map management you can close out re open and not loose lives, also if you do it during a duel on blast you won't go back to the first lvl
What’s even worse is they never updated Peggle on iPhone to remain playable AND they never put proper Peggle 2 on iPhone or mobile anywhere. It’s locked down on consoles. It plays fine there and it’s a great game but I played probably over 1000 hours of OG Peggle on my phone and now I have nothing. I am a husk of meaningless nothingness.
Amazes me that Peggle Dual Shot on Nintendo DS is still the best portable Peggle experience. For a series I thought would follow what Tetris or Puyo Puyo had single player wise, it sure fell quickly and sadly.
Wish they could've just sold us peggle pointer and block skins and multiplayer Peggle where you flex your competitive peggling skills over a discord call
i agree. peggle blast is horrible. there was this one level called “blossoming” and it took forever to beat it and i eventually deleted the game because it got too boring. i’m way farther in the original peggle and almost beat the original game (besides the challenge levels).
What sucks about Peggle Blast is that horrible app design aside, it has some great music, visuals and characters. I loved the new designs for the older peggle masters and the new ones were equally as charming, and that was really the only thing that pushed me to keep playing through the game. It was like a cartoon with a wonderful animation budget but horrible writing...or gameplay in this case.

Actually, if you lose prematurely you don't lose lives. Makes for a pretty boring experience with 0 stakes tho Ofc the game is any better for this and it sucks to have to close your game. And it doesn't stop the ads after the levels either so...
I wouldn't say this game is an abomination for its mobile gating schemes, as scummy as they are. It's an abomination because compared to the original Peggle it's a soulless, rushed, unpolished pile of garbage. The amount of polish in the original Peggle is insane, from the physics, the framerate, the mechanics, the theatrics, the particle effects, the sound design, the challenges, etc. It's night and day that the original had an extreme amount of polish and Blast was cobbled together with the lowest effort possible, mobile shovelware with a Peggle veneer.
Honestly, theres really easy ways to avoid losing lives (closing app before failing) and super easy ways to avoid ads (go to home screen and go back into app, worked me for at least). That makes the game awesome and totallly worth playing! Ive beaten every level with 3 stars and found all the secret pegs and have 77/78 achievements. Peggle blast is life.
I think they did a great job with the game, the long vertical format makes it a perfect phone game and its much harder and challenging than the other versions and the main reason people get frustrated with the difficulty, lives, and egg drops is because people are conditioned nowerdays for games to be stupidly easy, early arcade games were also hard so players would insert more coins, so its the same thing here, but the trick is to get good and figure out which character is best to use for specific levels... harder is better ,so stop crying about it and get good i say, theres a "knack" to every level if you figure it out and the difficulty is nothing compared to games like High level pac-man, Ninja gaiden, battletoads etc so seeing people crying about this game being too hard is hilarious, I got 3 stars on every level, sure it was tough in places and had to wait a few times for lives to regenerate but so what its free! and i had a great time playing it and didnt need to spend a dime.
Eh, harder isn't better all the time, especially not for an entry in a classic series. While some may appreciate the challenge, many previous fans of the series would notice the aspects which make the game harder for the sake of it, not to make the game more fun and rewarding to play. The easiest example is the Free Ball pot design, which minimizes the amount of lucky bounces you can get by removing the slopes and reducing its speed across the screen. Being harder by the virtue of gutting a fun feature can already sour an experience, and knowing it is likely to have you buy into the stamina system doesn't make things better.
@@tracyblanchard7663 its subjective ;) for example i found the slopes on the pot made the game way too easy like having stabilisers on a bike so what is gutting a fun feature to you is a difficulty balancing improvement to me so even though changes like that could of been intended just to make it harder to make more money it can also be seen as an improvement, like wiggled-dee doo darr nahh mean
@@Rockysbeats That's fair, though it doesn't really detract from the fact that many fans seem to agree it wasn't a good change for the game, especially since it was never a game that prided itself on difficulty. So while you can say it helped your personal experience, to say that it's only being panned because people are just mad at the difficulty is reductive at best. For fans of the series, the difficulty's not the fun part.
@@tracyblanchard7663people are not just mad at the difficulty spike alone they are mad because the old versions did not have any sinister micro transaction pay to keep going bullshit or adds popping up all the time, i still prefer blast because besides all the corporate downsides it still holds up much better then the other versions in terms of challenging gameplay, animation, music, sound, designs etc ;)
